    Nice Little Practice Amp
Great amp for practicing. Great price. Good for playing with friends whom have acoustic instruments.

I run a drum machine through one input and a bass through the other which makes it nice for practicing. Very portable.

I am very happy with this amp.

    PROS: Sounds great

    2 inputs

    Easy to carry around

    Great price

CONS: More of a personal taste issue. The amp is covered in a felt material.

Won't let you slappa da' bass!
Really wanted to like this amp (I really did), as I ordered the guitar amp from Monoprice and like it very much. This amp however is fine as long as you're play soft and evenly. If you get a bit more aggressive with your playing (I was doing a slap line) then it just cuts out. By that I mean no sound comes out of it, like nothing, like dead! Once you return to playing softly the sound returns. That is a problem as I occasionally like to "slappa da bass". It almost sounds like there's an internal compressor that won't let you get to loud. Hopefully Monoprice stands by their gear and lets me return it.

    PROS: the price

CONS: cuts out if you do any slap bass or play above a certain volume.

Sounds great! I use it with my bass and my guitar and you can't beat the tone at this price point. Love it.

    Great beginners practice amp.
We bought this for our daughters for Christmas. One has been playing bass electric guitar, the other is going to start lessons in a month on a regular electric guitar. They can share this amp, and if they ever decide to play a duet, the dual input / dual volume will be great. Or if their instructor wants to play along with them they can plug in for practice or for a jam session.

PROS: Inexpensive, dual inputs and volume controls, thick felt covering, weight is nice but not too light.

CONS: The headphone jack is 1/4", I wish they had put in a 1/8" jack so we didn't have to purchase an adapter.

Great little practice amp for a low price.
I really like this amp primarily because it was 20Watts and cheaper than Fender's 15W Rumble Amp. And I really like Monoprice. They do a lot of great stuff. The only downside is that since its so small and cheap it gets overdriven fairly easily. Especially since I have a BC Rich bass with Active pickups. Active pickups are very high output so the signal is pretty powerful coming out overdriving the amp. So if it's loud, the sound is distorted, not smooth and clean. I have to turn my bass master volume control down so the sound is smooth and clean.

Also, I just have to say that Monoprice customer service is fantastic. They responded quickly and are eager to fix any issues. I was having some problems with the amp cutting out and they did their best to help me out and were up for replacing it until I figured out it was my bass problem. (crummy battery driving the active pups.) DOI!!!!

PROS: Small. Cheap. Great Starter Amp. Portable. Sounds pretty good.

    CONS: Amp gets overdriven easily.

    Good and bad
I have a lot of basses and amps. I really like how portable and small this is. The sound is pretty thin but I really didn't expect much in this price and size range.

PROS: Portability this is small and light.

2 inputs with separate volume control.

    Sound is ok for practice.

CONS: Sound is so so, but for this price and portability it's ok.

    Perfect for what I need
Does exactly what I need, although the sound is a bit hollow with my passive pickups.

Buyer Beware- Failed after 2 hours of use
What a bummer. Monoprice is great for cables, but they fall far short on more sophisticated products. I usually plug my bass into my PS4 to use with Rocksmith, but bought this amp just over a year ago for occasional practice. Total usage is 2 maybe 3 hours, but when I went to turn it on recently it was dead. After confirming that the bass and cable are fine (using a friend's amp). Total cost per hour of use:~$25!!!!! Buyer beware, I will look elsewhere for similar purchases in the future, and suggest you do as well

PROS: Worked great for the first two hours

CONS: Complete garbage, failed after two hours of usage, and even worse
