    64-key USB Rollover

Most USB keyboards are limited to the standard USB six-key rollover, but this keyboard features a 64-key rollover option, ensuring that every key you press is registered by your game or application.

Ordinary membrane keyboards are susceptible to "ghosting" where the keyboard cannot distinguish between certain simultaneous keypress combinations and therefore produces no keypress at all. You may not notice it as a problem with the hardware design and simply write it off a failure on your part to press the keys in time. Mechanical keyboards, on the other hand, use individual switches for each key, allowing the keyboard to recognize any combination and simultaneous keypresses, up to the maximum 64-key rollover limit, regardless of which keys are presses.

    USB and Multimedia Hub

    USB and Multimedia Hub

The keyboard features a 2-port pass-through USB hub, making it easy to connect a mouse, flash drive, or charge your phone. Additionally, it has 3.5mm microphone and speaker/headphone jacks, allowing for easy connections of traditional headsets or speakers.

    Double Injected Key Caps

Many keyboard manufacturers reduce cost by using a white plastic keycap with black paint to form the letters and numbers. These look great for a while, but the paint will wear off with use, obliterating the letter. Rather than cut corners, we use double-injected keycaps made with white plastic for the numbers and black plastic for the surround keycap, ensuring that the letters will never fade with use and will look like new for years.

    Macro Recording

Use the included software application to create and manage custom macros to allow for multiple actions with the press of a single key. You can create macros by recording your keystrokes or through direct programming using the simple application interface.

    Multiple Profiles and On-Board Memory

You can save your custom macros and lighting options to one of the five profiles, allowing you to create custom setups for different games, for office use, or for use by multiple users. Additionally, the keyboard features on-board memory to save your settings locally, rather than on your computer, allowing you to move the keyboard from computer to computer without the need to reconfigure it or even to install the included customization software.

    Multimedia Controls

Easily control the volume and playback of your music and videos with the multimedia keys.

    Heavy-Duty Wrist Rest

    Heavy-Duty Wrist Rest

The removable wrist rest ensures that you can type and play in comfort for hours on end. The wrist rest attaches to the keyboard with an unbreakable, heavy-duty connection point.

The software doesn't seem to have the option to assign specific actions to keys, such as assigning two keys to control volume up/down, instead of having to hold the fn key. Will the software ever be updated??

Does the "included software application" run on a Mac or is it Windows only?
    Adrian M on Dec 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The included software application is currently for Windows machines at the moment. We will let you know if a Mac version comes out. Thank you!
I don't have a CD drive. Where can I download the drive?
    A shopper on Aug 2, 2017
    BEST ANSWER: I've copied the single setup.exe to Google Drive, but MonoPrice doesn't allow HTML or links in these comments. "h t t p s : / / d r i v e . g o o g l e . c o m / o p e n ? i d = 0 B 4 r X 4 V t v 0 v I - e D N L S m 9 o S i 1 p b z g"
Does anyone happen to know the specs of the USB port? I was just wondering if it functioned at USB 3.0 speeds.
    A shopper on Jul 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: These USB ports are not USB 3.0.
Do you have a video? How noisy is it?
    Adrian M on Dec 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello, we do not have a video for this item yet but if you want to hear the noise it makes, you can always look up other Cherry MX brown switches videos for reference. Thank you!
Is it possible to have our own program to control the LEDs? Or can I have a look at the software that you guys have?
    A shopper on Apr 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It may be possible that a 3rd party software could pick up the keyboard and provide control. However, we would not have any information regarding if there is a program that will work.

Unfortunately we would not have the included software available for download via the website. Should you purchase the keyboard and wish to try it out, you are welcome to. We do offer a 30 day return policy should it not work out for you then you can return it. I hope this helps.
Could some pictures of this keyboard with the lights on be taken? I'm very confused why an RGB keyboard is being advertised like a standard. Show it off :(
    Eduardo C on Jul 16, 2017
Does this keyboard requires drivers to be installed?
    Timothy T on Feb 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Only if you want to change the backlight color. The keyboard works fine at the standard backlight settings (medium brightness, blue) without drivers under any OS.
How can I toggle "Gmode" without switching to Profile 6? Currently the only way I can toggle off Gmode is by hitting Fn+F6, but that changes the color profile to purple.
    A shopper on Jul 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The only issue I see with Gmode is that it disables the Windows(or Command if you are on MAC OS) key.
I like the white back light. But it turns on the Gmode. So after I switch to white back light, I use Fn + Windows to toggle it on/off.
Is there a way to enable the windows key on the other profiles?

Can someone tell me what the indicator lights above the numpad mean?
I know the G indicator is for gaming mode but what about the other two?
    A shopper on Aug 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Num lock active and caps lock active are the other two indicator lights.
Is the brightness of the Backlit keyboard lights adjustable?
    A shopper on Nov 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Back light on keys is. The status lights are not.
Is the keyboard all plastic or aluminium?
    Timothy T on Feb 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's plastic, but it's a solid plastic. Think of the plastic of a standard $5 keyboard with a 10lb lead weight making up the bottom of it. It was much more solid than I expected in this price range.
Are the key caps interchangeable? Love the keyboard, not crazy about the caps.
    Ben O on Aug 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yup. In fact I think I lot of people didn't like these caps so the put in new ones
    Does this keyboard have a standard bottom row? i.e. CTRL-1.25 | WIN-1.25 | ALT-1.25 | SPACE-6.25 | ALT-1.25 | FN-1.25 | OPTIONS-1.25 | CTRL-1.25
    A shopper on Jun 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. This keyboard will have a standard bottom row, as described in your question.
preface: YES I HAVE THE SOFTWARE don't tell me to use the software.. I cant figure out where the colour settings are stored for the keyboard. the software doesn't let me enter in RGB numbers. its just a manual slider which is not very accurate.

does anyone know where the configuration is stored? i couldn't figure it out in the registry and i checked appdata to no avail.

Great except for the status lights
I've had this for a few days now and like it except for one GLARING thing.

The status lights (Num lock, Scroll lock abd the "G" light are bright bright white and do not dim or change color. I have had to stick 10 layers of frosted Stoch tape to dim them enough to not blind me while working.

Support said there was not adjustment.

To have to do this on a $114.00 keyboard is a shame.

PROS: So far seems to work great

    CONS: Status lights are horrible

Good value, especially when on sale
I bought this 2 months ago to replace an ancient Logitech Black Internet Keyboard (that still works, but some key-caps are getting worn too much to see, and I wanted to treat myself to a shiny mechanical switch keyboard).

The MP D20 is definitely noisier than the old, but I'm happy to move up to a keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches. It's solid feeling (though plastic - it's a hefty plastic and the keyboard weighs a lot more than I expected; it doesn't move easily) and feels good for typing and gaming.

I haven't loaded the drivers. What I want the keyboard to do (so far) is all selectable from the keyboard via Fn keys. I like the USB ports on-board - it keeps me from having the mouse cord run all the way back to the computer. I've tried the wrist rest a couple of times but keep removing it, as it doesn't seem to do much for me except take space. It's easily removed.

I keep it on a low white light for the keyboard. The status lights don't dim, though - which is the major annoyance to this board in my opinion. One last thing on lighting: there are two lighted panels on the vertical front edge (below the space bar) that make decent night lights. If you have this in a bedroom, you might need to shut the lights off for sleep.

The other annoyance to me is the font for the keys - it definitely doesn't match what is shown in the pictures, and it's kind of odd. E.g., 6 and G look very alike, 9 is an upside down G, and A is a Greek Delta with an open spot on the bottom. Basically, there are no closed characters, like 8 is open top and bottom to look like two broken chain links hooked together. I'm supposing this is due to how the keys are made, and closed sections would mean no support for (what Monoprice says is a double injected white/black key set) the black part of the key. You can see some of the true font used in the circular picture next to where it says "RGB LED Backlighting." I have a better picture if I can figure a way to show it here.

I haven't found an LED lighted Cherry MX Brown switch keyboard for any less money than this one (and most without lights are the same or more than this with lights). I like mine (enough to be tempted to buy another on this current sale).

I would give 5 stars for a more legible font on the keys and a replaceable cable (though the included cable is *nice* - fabric wrapped).

    This is EXCELLENT
It's my main keyboard now. Software is a little weird but works perfectly once you figure it out. Lights are great, keys are great, switches are great, layout is great, wrist guard is great.

Could really benefit from a volume control knob in the top right. Otherwise, this one is a weener

    Way better than I expected.
This keyboard has far exceed my expectations. Granted, I did get a really good deal on it, but this keyboard is definitely worth regular price. It is as good or better than most mechanical keyboards I have used in this price range.

Instead of going over all the good things about it, I will list the only bad things about it.

    1. The status lights (Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock) are WAY too bright and can't be turned down. I had to tape over them with black electrical tape.

    2. The font pictured on the site and the font on the actual keyboard are way different. The font on the keyboard I received has been described as "gamer font" and I agree. It is a weird futuristic, alien style font. I don't really mind as the font of my keys are not something I really think about but the website should advertise the ACTUAL font.

    3. The software that this keyboard uses is very clunky and not very user friendly. I haven't touched it beyond the initial set up because it was a pain in the butt.

That's it. The keyboard itself is mechanically excellent, the wrist wrest is perfect and the keys feel great to type on. I recommend it to everyone.

    Favorite mechanical keyboard so far
I tried a couple of cheaper keyboard from other manufacturers and the Logitech G710 and I like the MP D20 much better. Two USB ports is really handy and the drivers don't get in your way.

    Well made keyboard...
Typing on this keyboard is wonderful! There were no mechanical or electrical issues with the keyboard and has been working well for the past month. The only critique I can think of is the font of the letters that are printed on the keys. It makes the letters kind of hard to read. But I consider that a minor issue. I have not had the keyboard long so I can’t speak to its endurance, but so far I like it!

    Solid Keyboard
For the price, this keyboard is hard to beat. I paid $45 for it and it has functioned flawlessly. It is hard to find Cherry MX switches for anything that cheap.

    Pretty good
So this was my first mechanical keyboard so I don't know how it compares with the other brands. I currently have used this keyboard for a month now and for one it works well and does the job. You can change how the lights illuminate right from the keyboard and you can customize it using the software that comes with it. The keys are nice not too loud. Overall, better experience than when typing with the keyboards that I used previously(Laptop and membrane keyboard that comes with buying pre-built computers).
