Can the height be set to any height in between or is it just two fixed points? And how does it lock into place, if I lean on it will it recede?
    Nathan W on Jan 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi, you can set the desk height to any point within its range of movement. It locks into place as soon as the levers are released and the desk will retain this position even if you lean on it (of course staying within load limits). Thanks for checking.
Can these desk hold 2 monitors?
    A shopper on Jun 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi! Yes! I currently use this desk with 2 - 24" widescreen monitors that are canted at about 30 degrees. It provides plenty of space for other things you might keep on your desktop. I have several SSD drives and a small footprint computer on the desk as well.
Can I use Monoprice Monitor Arms with this or will it not fully lay flat when sitting?

Monoprice Essential Single Monitor Articulating Arm Desk Mount
BEST ANSWER: I use the monitor arm attached to my desktop, which it works great. If you are looking to utilize the arm in that manner, it should work fine. Although the arm needs to be attached to a stationary face. If you are looking to attache the arm to the standing desk mount, I would not advise this.

what is the maximum height of the keyboard tray?
    A shopper on Dec 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have this on my desk which is 30" off the floor of my office. When I am in the raised position the keyboard try is 44.5" off the floor. It is about 14.5-15" off the desk. I am 6' tall and the keyboard is perfect height for me when fully raised.
Any idea when the 42" Sit Stand Height Adjustable Desk will be back in stock?
    A shopper on Oct 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the original 42" size is not being restocked, but we are developing a V2 model for this size that adjusts straight up (instead of pushing outwards when going up, like the original model). In the meantime, we have 36" models that are available now and worth checking out: products 27774 and 27840. Thank you.
Is the 42" size going to be offered again?

    Great Product - so easy!
I've used various sit/stand products over the past few years. This is by far the easiest setup and the product is quite solid. Really easy to adjust heights, even for a short person like me.

    Spacious and easy to use
I have had the sit stand 42 for a couple of weeks now and love it. There is plenty of room for dual 27" monitors and I like the ability to move up and down from standing to sitting very quickly. Adjusting it to the standing position with two large monitors does take some effort though as I think I'm probably close to the max weight recommendation so I have to give it a fair amount of lift to get it up. With smaller or single monitors this probably isn't an issue. Going down is very simple and effortless. For the price I'm very pleased with the desk and recommend it.

    Great Desk!
I almost went with a smaller desk but glad I didn't.
Im a 6'1" man and was a little concerned if this desk would raise high enough. At it's maximum height I would say it would be comfortable for a person up to 6'3" depending, if you're 6'4" or taller you should look to possibly find a thick pad to make the keyboard tray slightly higher. If you can do that it should work for people of up to possibly 6'8" or more.

The keyboard tray at this desk size is perfect for Mouse+Keyboard. If i had gotten a smaller desk I guarantee i would have had to find a new location to use my mouse comfortably or look into buying a smaller keyboard. (Using a Logitech G910 Keyboard)

What pleases me is the locking mechanism on the sides, they seem sturdy enough that I can lean on the desk without it sliding downward. This rigidity makes the desk more stable but also makes it easier to use for longer periods of time while standing.

Only issue I can find isn't really one that is with the desk so much as in how you'll use it. Since you have a whole desktop you'll end up putting everything on it, which means if you're moving it from a sitting to standing position you'll find that you're lifting the weight of the desk and all of your crap on it. It does have some spring to help but it only feels substantial enough to really just be a guide so you don't slam your desk when lowering it.

Desk looks good, I can't comment on the durability as I've only had it for maybe a week or so and while the parts feel durable I won't really know until I've had it for a good amount of time. If it can last me at least 2 years then I'll say i got my moneys worth, though i absolutely hope it lasts longer than that.

    Very nice
Great construction - solid desk. You must put this on TOP of your existing desk! It's easy to pull up, easy to put down and the best part is I get to stand AND sit - best of both worlds. My back already feels better while standing and ironically, I'm getting more steps on my Garmin! Good stuff. . we've got 5 in the office now.

    Great for Office
This has been great for the office, I go home with a lot more energy just from standing some instead of sitting all day. There is plenty of desktop space to utilize it while standing and it is fully adjustable so you can set the height just right for you.

Will likely be buying more as everyone is asking to try it.

    Awesome for the price.
I just had back surgery and needed to do more standing when working. This adjustable desk is perfect as it fit my 2 monitors and my laptop. The table is well built and I would recommend it to anyone.

Nice change being able to stand and work on computer
I needed the 42" model since I have a 33" Dell monitor and a 21" iMac as my PC. They fit with nary an inch to spare. Collapsing the unit to the seating position is easy. Raising it is a good Ab workout! It could stand a bit more oomph in the struts or springs, whatever is used for the raising and lowering. I am within the 33 lbs load limit. There was also a dent in the front of the keyboard shelf from shipping - could see where the carton took a blow which was transmitted in to the desk. Not a big deal as it doesn't affect the function. Overall I am happy with the versatility the desk provides.

    Sit-Stand Desk Works Well
I love being able to sit or stand and still do my work. The 42" desk fits my two 24" monitors without a problem and the keyboard platform is big enough for a full size keyboard and a mouse. This was a great purchase for me.
