Will this stand be OK for x2 Dell U2415 monitors? 11lb max per monitor seems to be too low for 24'-26' monitors
    Mykola G on Mar 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi, this mount should still work based on the Dell U2415 specs online. That monitor should weigh 9.35 lbs for the panel only (no stand, for vesa mounting). The maximum load for this mount was set based on the one gas-spring arm that's designed to move the whole setup together. For heavier screens, it would be recommended to explore other sit-stand height-adjustable desk options (like the 15720) and the dual gas-spring monitor mount (15525). Thank you.
Can you tell me what the clamp mount size is? what is the thickest desk top it can clamp to?

Sit-Stand Dual Monitor and Keyboard Workstation
Very good quality product at a very reasonable price. The Arm is very sturdy and works pretty great with effortless installation and very good printed instructions. When you type it moves a little but I think that you need to expect that with any arm that has keyboard on it.
The arm feature all the movements that you can imagine and it is very safe. If you need to use just your keyboard and mouse, working while standing, then this is the product that you need. Price is unbeatable and the quality is great. When you get tired you just push it down and you can work like you are on a regular desk. . You also will have more space on your desk which is a great addition for small office spaces. All and all a very good setup for sit-stand workstation.

    PROS: Good quality
It has all the movements possible
    Allows 26" monitors

CONS: a little flimsy when you type

My primary reason for this purchase was to raise the level of my dual monitors. I don't use the the up and down function as they are always up and for that it works great.

    Poor ergonomics
I really wanted this to work but it's got a fatal flaw: the keyboard tray does not extend out far enough and therefore puts you right up against the monitors. It's just too close and you end up having to reach out with your arms too much as you try and stand back and/or turn your head side-to-side too much. I'm healthy but within minutes I started to get some neck/shoulder pain because of trying to stand back to see both monitors and reach forward too much for the mouse with no arm support. I'll give it a few more days but I'm not sure that will change. Tall people will also have some challenges, including a little too much wobble seated or standing. I probably need to send it back but re-packaging will not be easy.

On the plus side, it is easy to put together and the parts seem good quality.

PROS: - Easy to put together
    - Parts seem like high quality
    - Good price

CONS: - Ergonomics are off and may make it difficult to use
    - A bit wobbly, more so for taller user setup

    Poorly Designed.
Picked this up to test for our office, we had been using the Ergotrons, and decided to check these out due to them being lower cost. These might be fine for a quick data-entry station, but that's about it. In the lower position, they don't come down all of the way to the table, so the keyboard sticks up at a funky angle., so that they're not stable). It's common for the sit stands to be a bit shaky in the standing, but there is not a position where you can type and watch the screen without being able to read what is being typed.

    PROS: Cost

CONS: Unstable, shaky, ergonomic issues, keyboard position issues.

    Dual Monitor Sit/Stand
The item came as scheduled, and without damage. Instructions were fairly clear. the main problem i have is in the design. After everything was put together I noticed that there is a minimal offset between the keyboard and the monitors. This means, that when you are standing or sitting at your keyboard, the monitors are too close for me. Others may not be bothered by it. Also It appears that I may be a sloucher when it comes to sitting in my chair, and need to be able to adjust the height of the monitors vs the height of the keyboard when standing, than when sitting. This is not easily accomplished with both monitors on the stand. (in fact it has a disclaimer to take the monitors off prior to adjusting the vertical slide. Again these are issues with the design, and this user. It may work for you. I also found it a bit bouncy when in the vertical position, as I had to put the arm towards the top of the vertical post in order to get the keyboard tray high enough when standing.

    PROS: Shipped quickly, arrived undamaged.

CONS: design of keyboard is too close to the monitors, so the user is very close to the screens. A little shaky when typing at heighest setting.

Good quality but needs work on ergonomics
Materials are of good guality. Arm that holds monitors and keyboard mouse tray needs work on sturdyness! it moves too much when typing and standing up. Also when you sit down, the monitor holders need more flexibility to adjust to position monitors to portray image at a lower angle. I had to position monitors height a little lower to compensate when sitting down, but when standing up they are lower than my direct eye sight. I am 6' 1".

Great system and even better price
I purchased this right about the same time as another employee bought a different one from another site for more money. Hers is much harder to move up and down and takes up quite a bit more room and didn't come with a way to mount the monitors, had to sit them on the table. This has been great so far and I am looking to get one similar for my home now.

    Horrible Shaky Stand
Not only does the keyboard try not extend far enough or retract, Every time I type, the entire stand shakes. I hate that I spent any money on this rinkydink set-up.

    Difficult to adjust/ unclear instructions
Wish the instructions/ manual was more clear. There is little to no direction as to how to one would lower the mount to sit. Please help.

    Response from Monoprice
Hi, you should be able to move the mount freely by just grabbing the keyboard tray on both sides. If you are having difficulty doing this, it's possible that the counter-balance force is too high on the gas spring. You can adjust this by using the big hex key to turn the adjustment screw clockwise behind the gas spring (step 8 in the manual) to achieve correct tension. Hope this helps.

Was hoping this would be the one, but it falls short.
I ended up not being happy with this unit. I felt the monitor positioning was way too close to my face in the sitting position. When I raised it, I felt like I really had to pan my head back and forth to see things. It also felt a bit flimsy and would shake a bit. I think its a bit too much weight with two monitors for the design. Ultimately, I ended up giving this away to another coworker who uses it only in the raised position to rest his laptop on the keyboard tray.
