What is the response time on this monitor?
    A shopper on May 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This monitor uses AU Optronics M270DTN01.0 LCD panel, the exact specifications can be found online. The listed response time is listed as: 1.5-3.5 ms. There are other monitors that use this same panel, however they use overdrive / response time compensation (RTC) technology to boost pixel transitions across grey to grey changes. This functions to improve responsiveness down to 1ms grey2grey (G2G).

But for this price, resolution, frequency, and guarantee, this is a hard deal to beat. I purchased two open box models and they have been flawless. If you're not satisfied, can always return it, another benefit of buying from monoprice. Hope that helps.
Are there any scratches on the Screen for the Open-Box Version?
    A shopper on May 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we would not have information on if the screen may or may not have scratches on it. As mentioned on the disclaimer on the items webpage, ".. the product may exhibit cosmetic imperfections as a result of its having been previously opened".

Should you require additional assistance, please reach out to our technical support team with a detailed question via any of the methods available here:

Will these open box monitors still be Pixel Perfect?
    A shopper on Jun 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Both my brother and I recently got one of these, 0 pixel problems at all whatsoever.
Are there any drivers needed for this monitor?
    A shopper on Jun 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, the monitor was plug and play with basic windows drivers. I do however recommend downloading AMD drivers if you want to over clock or fine tune any settings.
If the monitor screen were to be scratched when I opened it would there be a opportunity to return it?
    A shopper on Jun 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Yes, we would offer a 30 day return policy with our Open Box and Refurbished items.

    Worth every penny
This is my first 1440p, 144hz free synce monitor. First off, it is 27 inches and I was using a 23 inch monitor, 1080p for 9 years and the 27 inch looks HUGE in comparison. Going from 1080p to 1440p is very noticeable and the 144hz is a dramatic change. You know how sime games have motion blur and vsync? Turn both those options on with this monitor for vast improvements. This monitor has 2 hdmi ports, 1 dp port and 1 dvi port and the best part is you van switch between all the ports via the buttons on the monitor. So because of that my old Hdmi Switch is pointless.

The only negative parts is that the screen is super bright. I think I have the brightness at 40 and some times it still feels really bright. The built in speakers are poor (but what built in speakers is good?) And the monitor stand is really really cheap and flimsy. However, easy to fix that problem seeing as this monitor can be VESA mounted.

Overall, its my first monitor upgrade and it was worth every penny.

    Worth it
Do it. This is crazy cool to have a 1440p 144hz monitor. When I purchased this monitor openbox, there was a sale going on that I think they forgot to exempt this SKU from. So I got the monitor for 215 shipped. At that price, unbeatable. I loved it until about 2.5/3 weeks later there was a stuck green pixel in the middle of the screen about 30% of the time. I called monoprice, and they were out of stock on a replacement so they gave me a refund. Genuinely, a very enjoyable transaction, I would've wanted a working replacement but having seen the faster, higher resolution light, I look forward to purchasing another gaming monitor from Monoprice again. I think the PerfectPixel guarantee is reason enough to choose Monoprice. The quality of their products waaaaaay exceeds the value for money elsewhere, from water bottles to gaming monitors.

    Dead Pixels
Came with a couple dead pixels. Other than that, the monitor works fine. Wish I could have got one with the dead pixels.
