Please clarify. There is one review/question saying that these work with RG6 cable and one say they do not. I'm looking at these connectors (9910) and cable 15400. are those compatible?

Monoprice 500ft RG6Q Coax Cable, PVC ETL, White
Monoprice 500ft RG6Q Coax Cable, PVC ETL, White
BEST ANSWER: The diameter of RG6 & RG59 are different sizes so it is almost impossible to force the larger size cabler into the smaller one and hard to get a firm crimp on the smaller one in the larger connector
My name is Sebastian, I am from Lee County Public Safety In Florida.
Can you tell me who makes this Male compression BNC connectors for RG59?

Great Connector Ends Just make Sure you get the right tool
Great Connectors just make sure you have the right tool, not all the MP crimp tools work. I use the 3356 tool.

PROS: Heavy Duty and Easy to use.

CONS: This really is not a Con but make sure you get the right crimp tool. Some of the tools do not fit these ends, the one I use is the Monoprice 3356 tool.

Cheap and easy to use. Every one compresses perfectly and makes excellent contact. I use this with the siamese RG59 cable, 9909

I have used three different types of BNC connector with our Belden coax stranded core HD cable for our churches camera/broadcast switcher system. These are the first connectors I have used that didn't make me want to say words I ought not to in church. And they are less than 20% of the price of these other connectors - not to mention the tools. Very good when I need to make my budget go as far as possible

PROS: Solid connectors, very easy to use even with stranded core RG59 cable. PRICE

CONS: Can be tricky to line up that core into the centre pin.

    Works for RG6
I have been using this with RG6 cable. Not sure how well it will fit RG59.
Easy to connect. Strip about 3/4" down to center wire. Push it in carefully to make sure end of wire goes into tiny hole and then push it hard in another 1/8" before compressing with tool. (Might do a continuity test before compressing to make sure outer and inner not shorted and that tip is contacting wire.)

    PROS: Works great. Good price.

CONS: A little tricky to line up center wire with tiny hole inside. Use care.

    Don't do it!
I usually don't write reviews, but I don't wont anybody else to have to redo a camera job. Don't use these ends! You will have to replace them with real ends.

    Not very Good.
Bought these for a job. But the interior ring at the back of the outside sprigged holder. Collapses easily. Went through a bunch of duds. Will likely not purchase again. ALSO: Theses will NOT work with the yellow compression tool(7050) they are too tall to fit in the tool.

    PROS: Cheap Compression Connector

CONS: Spring Ring somtimes collapes when in tool.
