does this power supply come with AC power cord?
    (4 Channel CCTV Camera Power Supply - 12VDC - 5 Amps )
    A shopper on Jun 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does come with the power cable.
Does each output provide 12V 5A or is that 5A split between the four outputs?
    New User U on Sep 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's split. It should be sufficient for any camera. I always buy power supplies that put out 1 amp per output.
is the Monoprice 16 Channel CCTV Camera Power Supply a comparable replacement for a Qsee model QS1008 ?
    A shopper on Feb 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we are not experienced with Qsee products. I would be unable to give a fair response. We do offer a 30 day return policy. If you would like to purchase and test it out, you are welcome to. I hope this helps.

    Awesome, one flaw
This is really minor, but still worth noting. The posts that camera pigtails screw into are in no way reinforced. The board it connects to is elevated on four corner-screws, which means that as you press in to tighten the screw, the whole board warps with it. Adding some sort of center support would eliminate this issue. Please note that it is still easy to install and does it's job, but the warpyness is profound, so it's worth noting.

    PROS: *Does what it says
*Makes for a clean, protected install

    CONS: *Flimsy

    Very nice power box
I got this to power 6 pinhole cameras (250mA each) and it works great. No problems at all, and the box its self is very sturdy.

PROS: Screws for cable connections are easy to use, multimeter showed very clean power coming from the terminals.

CONS: Power cable is a bit short.
