Very solid construction. I found the arms a little too short to reach all the mounting holes for my projector (Epson 8350). I modified the mount a little by adding an extra 2" metal plate (extending the arm by about 3/4"). This was enough to reach 4 mounting points and made it very solid. Very pleased with the mount.
I used it on a Sony VPL-HW45ES projector. Worked well; was able to remove one of the arms and align to the 3 mounting holes on the projector. Note that the included M5 screws weren't long enough. I used screws and spacers from the extension mount Monoprice product ID 5466 and they worked fine. You can buy both spacers and screws cheaply at a hardware store, too. Otherwise buying both mounts is still way cheaper than any of the other compatible mounts you can find. Overall this is an awesome mount for an extremely low price!
I bought this ceiling mount for my BenQ W6000. It has now been up for a couple of months and doing a good job. I previously had the mount made specifically for my SharpVision projector and I have to say I needed to adjust that mount more frequently than this one.
It was easy to install on the ceiling, but trying to keep the mount centered on the projector while adjusting the four arms proved to be difficult. But once I got it, I tightened it up and don't have to worry about it again! I'm sure this was only difficult since it is a universal mount, I guess that is to be expected.
PROS: Sturdy, little post-installation adjustments, inexpensive

love this just as good if not beater than $50 plus mounts I've seen
PROS: build quality, price , easy to use, easy to understand directions and very nice hardware pack
I knew the mount arms were not long enough before purchase, and this video was very helpful for preparation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1dKKNplads I wasn't expecting the other three cons, but all of them are very minor issues. I just use the remote instead of reaching up for the power button.
Bottom line, the price can't be beat. Just have an idea of the minor problems you'll encounter.
PROS: Cost Cable routing As sturdy as expected
CONS: Arms not long enough to fit mount holes of Epson Home Cinema 8350 Roll/pitch adjustments are difficult to tighten enough to prevent bump adjustments "Hemisphere" cover for ceiling mount screws gets in the way when drilling into ceiling Phillips screws easily stripped
