PROS: outlets work
CONS: USB ports will not charge a tablet
PROS: Nice slick design, bright off-white color, "Protected" light works as navigation at night, comes with the screw, has a "shelf" on top on which you can place your smartphone, surge protector-peace of mind
- could have two un-foldable brackets to hold smartphones [earlier model had it]
- should have an option to turn off the Protected light - some people cannot sleep with this quite bright light
VERY bright green light that you can't turn off or disable... do not put this in a room that it matters (like almost any room in a home)
PROS: High quality / Feels solid / works well
CONS: VERY bright green light that you can't turn off or disable... do not put this in a room that it matters (like almost any room in a home)
PROS: - Lots of plugs availab.e
CONS: - The VERY bright light. I put some electric tape to hide it but it still comes out of the USB ports.
- The USB ports make a buzzing noise if nothing is connected (from both cable ends). It's not loud so it's rarely during the day but at night, when trying to sleep, it's annoying!
The status light is also very very bright and could serve as a night light (if you wanted one) but is too bright for my needs.
Overall, it is a great concept but there are better options out there without the bright lights for around the same money.
PROS: 6 outlets in compact package
Comes with lengthened outlet screw
CONS: USB ports don't charge
Bright status light
PROS: compact with 6 plugs and 2 usb that actually charge tablets as well as phones. Surge protection light is a good feature as well.
CONS: usb charging is a bit slower than using the charger from phone/tablet.
PROS: 6-Plug-Ins and 2-USB power plug-ins. Fits flush against the wall/plugs
CONS: large bright LED power on indicator light that is on constantly. Not a problem for us since we are using it in a office area. Will not want to place it in a bedroom or area that low lighting is desired.
PROS: Provides significant protection for devices connected to it. Room for several items connected at once. Did away with 2 - 3 wall warts used to charge phones and pads. Power indicator lets you know it's on and protecting devices.
CONS: None I discovered
PROS: Convenient, Stylish, Functional
CONS: Outlets are a bit close so wall warts cover several at a time
PROS: Able to use this on high mounted swivel tv mount in my basement bar. Didn't want to use corded surge protector where I would have to mount that also. It works very well and looks nice.
CONS: Can't use behind low profile mounted tv. bit bulky.
