It' seems to "hum" even after adjustment. But again, it's good at $129.99

Sub deliveres. Even at low volumes it fills my 2000
Sq foot 2 story home with ritch clean powerful bass. I find myself turning the vol lvl down more and more as is gets broken in. I really appreciat mono price selling a hi quality product at a unbeatable price. I've paid hundreds more for lesser quality sound. I will definitely check monoprice for all my electronics purchases before i go to the other guys. The sub cables I bought from
Mono price 24' were at the other guys (worst buy) for $55. I got from monoprice for under $10 with lifete guarantee. The other guys (worst buy) 15 day return. REALLY?

This turned out to be a wonderful surprise. It will make all the bass you can handle in say a typical living room (and maybe too much bass for people on the outside of that room, because subs have a way of turning the room they’re in into a giant speaker cabinet, sending huge bass out into the rest of the house). I really like that it can work with older receivers via the speaker wire inputs, as well as more modern equipment with a subwoofer out line.
Bass is either accurate or not, in my mind, and the idea that say a 40Hz tone is going to sound really different from speaker-to-speaker is tough for me to believe. The real, practical difference between subs:
1) Does the cabinet rattle and does the bass get distorted, or not?
2) how much does it cost?
This one holds its own amazingly well on both questions.
