Ultra Slim Fixed Wall Mount Bracket for LED TVs (Max 110 lbs, 13~70 inch), Silver
Don't leave your flat panel TV on a table or stand where it can be knocked over and damaged, or even worse injure a child or pet. Instead, mount it securely and safely to the wall using this Low Profile Wall Mount Bracket from Monoprice!
This mount bracket features an ultra-slim form factor, which puts the back of the TV only about 0.6" away from the wall, making it ideal for displays with side or bottom facing connections.
This bracket is designed to mount an LCD, LED, or Plasma display with a VESA mounting pattern between 100x100 and 800x800, which includes most 13" to 70" TVs*. It can be mounted to any type wall (brick, concrete, wood stud, etc.) and can safely hold up to 110 lbs (including the weight of the mount itself). Mounting hardware is included.
* Note that the display screen size is only an approximation. Your TV is compatible with this mount as long as your display has a VESA mounting pattern and weight that fit within the size and weight limits listed above.

CONS: Although not shown in the pictures, the kit comes with a small clamp and small wrench which is needed to reduce the wirerope to your required length. The provided clamp is the weak part of this kit's design. Hand tightening resulted in stripping the threads on the clamp which meant the length of the wirerope would slip after applying the weight of the TV (63 lbs.) My 60" LED TV uses 400mm VESA mount and this technique of shortening the wirerope wasn't going to cut it. I ended up getting a more traditional wall mount.
Thank you for your review and my apologies for the issues you have experienced with PID 8484. A shame it didn't work out for your needs.. Now if you are dissatisfied with the mount, I can help setup an RMA for a return. If you would like me to proceed with the RMA, all I would need is the order # this mount is under. Sorry again for the trouble and thanks in advance!

PROS: -Holds TV Super Close to wall
-Studs not required - I use some beefier sheetrock anchors/toggle bolts depending on if it is sheetrock or plaster.
-It is easy to install
-Allows adjustment of the TV after it is installed. - Helps in old houses where ceilings and walls aren't level - sometimes the TV looks bad if it is level and nothing else is.
CONS: -The instructions are a bit lacking and the included hardware is not great.
-If you are hanging a Samsung TV the included screws are the wrong sizes. The short one is too short and the long one is too long. Go to the hardware store and get 4 M8x1.25 25mm they work perfect.
PROS: this has got to be the easiest way to hang a flat panel I've ever experienced. Get the wall plates level and the rest is cake. it's just like hanging a picture. Everything is included in the kit.
CONS: I don't think the drywall anchors are the best choice. I use wall drillers rated for high capacity. have never let me down.
PROS: Size, strength
CONS: Mounting screws could be designed flush
PROS: Inexpensive, well-designed
PROS: Mounts the TV incredibly close to the wall
Don't have to center your tv on studs- kit can be hung with drywall anchors
Smaller holes in wall compared to larger bulkier tv mounts
The instructions are pretty horrible. A wall of unexplained text describing the different VESA measurements, and over simplified for the rest. It's kind of like IKEA directions, they went to so much trouble, they made it more complicated. A simple thing would be to mark which side of the mounting posts for the TV should be facing the TV, and which part for the wall should be facing the wall. After that, a simple explanation for when to use spacers and which ones to use, and you're done.
But all in all, a GREAT TV mount and a phenomenal price.
Easy to set up(Once you decipher the instructions)
Less mess and fuss than a standard mount
No chance of the mount blocking the input ports, and issue I have had with other "universal mounts"
CONS: The instructions are poorly designed
PROS: Can't beat it for the money. Fairly simple to install.
CONS: Clearer instructions would be nice.
PROS: Super flat against the wall
CONS: Makes running wires difficult because it sits so close to the wall
