Anyone know what the space between the top hole and the top of the mount is? I wouldn't want it to peak out from behind the top of the TV once mounted. If it's less than 6 inches, then I should be fine...
Worked like a dream hung a 47" vizio, love how close to the wall it is. The spacers provided gave me just enough room to hook up cords before putting on wall. Great price & will order again! I suggest you to everyone.
Also it would've been nice if middle have a mounting hold as well, my mounting studs were pretty wide apart (basement, 2 feet apart), had they added some mounting holes in the middle of the plate, i could simply mount it with 1 stud, then use 2 specialty drywall tapping screws (50lbs capacity each) for side of the mounting holes. But due to the lack of mounting hole in the middle, I end up opening up the drywall and put 2 horizontal studs. I could've drilled the plate, but I don't want to mess with a brand new product if ever I need to return it.
Is STUPID how they ship this product, the box is nearly SIX (6) times bigger than the actual TV mount! And they charge 32$ for shipping because of that, 3 times more than the actual item! Stupid UPS charge additional 17$ on top of the shipping. Had they shipped with regular USPS or smaller packaging, it would've cost must less. To top it off, they way they packed the item is stupid too. The mount was sitting at the BOTTOM of the box, and the bubbles was all on top of it. What kind of "padding" is that gonna do?
PROS: Very slim, easy to install, more than enough hardware.
CONS: The magnet that is glued on to one of the metal rail had came off... Otherwise it would've been a 10/10. Also see below.
