When they say Ultra Slim they were not kidding. I actually had to put a block of wood behind the part that screws to the wall as my HDMI and component cables did not have enough room. Its probably more the TV that I had than the mounts fault. I could probably buy some 90 degree couplers that would make this better.
PROS: The unit has a built in level which is a nice feature and comes with lots of screws.
CONS: There are only two holes for mounting into the wall. You had better be putting this into a stud
Very solid mount for the price. Every step was easy, excep the very last one. Gravity does most of the work of holding the TV in place, but there are two screws that are used to prevent the TV from sliding upward out of the mount. Because the TV was so close to the wall, there was very little room to screw these in, and I was working on a 28 inch TV.
PROS: Price. It was very easy to install on the wall, on the TV, and very easy to put the TV on the wall.
CONS: It was very difficult to secure the two vertical screws that prevent the TV from being removed from the mount.
I bought a couple different designs of mounts for my 32" tv. This TV is mounted in my bathroom and I wanted it to be pretty flush to the wall. This is just a standard mount. It is very thin. I had to use the provided spacers to make sure the tv fit flush with the wall. Also if you want your cables hidden like I do, you will need to ensure that you use the electrical box that is recessed into the wall, both cable and electrical. Otherwise you can't put cords behind the tv using this mount. It is really a great mount. I would say there is only an inch of space between the wall and the tv and I used the provided spacers.
