Questions and Answers
PROS: I needed my Toshiba 60" to fit behind my 100" motorized screen in my home theater installation. The space was tight (only 10 1/2" in the proscenium) and this bracket did it. 1/2" to spare when the screen comes down.
CONS: The bottom arms of the rack made a mess of the drywall behind the screen. I added felt furniture bumpers after a test fit. I also gave up on getting the locking rod into the slots. No need to lock it, just wanted the security of the rod.

Other thing, I would not recomend this on TV's 42" or smaller as you will see the mount on the side behind the TV. It's not too bad on our 42" TV, but on our 40" which also has a small border, the mount itself almost sticks out past the TV. From straight on it's not a problem, but from any kind of an angle you can see the mount behind the TV. So for TV's 42" or smaller I recomened going witht he skinnier mount similar to this.
PROS: Strong, simple design, easy to install. Works great
CONS: No hole in the middle
Not good for TV's below 42"
level is useless
Rod holders in a bad spot
PROS: Slim! If I didn't need to use the 1/2" spacers (included), I could have had the back of the TV an inch from the wall. Mind you, my TV is old and thick, but the newer slimline TVs will make it look like it's just a picture frame hanging from the wall.
CONS: Dang, it's a tight fit for those of us with older TVs that have back-facing connections. Those with down- or side-facing connectors shouldn't have much to worry about.
It's also a bit difficult to use the lower two hooks on the VESA brackets. I ended up digging into the drywall inadvertently when mounting. You may want to take a cat's paw bar and flange out the lower edge of the TV bracket clips (just a little bit!) to give you more wiggle room when attaching to the wall bracket.
PROS: It is definitely the slimmest unit on the market
CONS: THIS UNIT DOES NOT FIT 32" DISPLAYS, THEY HAVE IT WRONG AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT CORRECTED IT. MAJOR DISCONNECT IN THEIR PRODUCT SUPPORT DEPARTMENT.
Thanks for great service Monoprice
PROS: Easy to install, sturdy unit
CONS: Lil to long for my 32"
