    What does “logo-yes/no” mean?
    A shopper on Jun 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It means that the package and / or bracket itself does not have the Monoprice Logo on it. I am a custom installer and prefer that it is generic when I sell and install it for clients.

Monoprice Ultra-Slim Fixed TV Wall Mount Bracket - For TVs 37in to 70in, Max Weight 165lbs, VESA Patterns Up to 800x400, Security Brackets, Height Adjustable
BEST ANSWER: When you mount 6284 the height of bracket stays stationary, and the mounts attached to TV, they only have one position, so measurements need to be precise. The other one, the bracket on wall stays stationary, but the mounting brackets on back of TV have two or 3 positions to adjust where it sits on the wall, bracket, to be able to adjust height.

Used to mount Sharp LC80LE632 (122lbs) on wall. The 6 lag bolts went in without much trouble once pre-drilled. Unfortunately the TV bolts were too long, so sourced similar grade products from the local hardware store.

Used recessed power and keystone connector plate (Arlington TVBU505 not Monoprice) and in wall rated cables (4965, 2769 & ethernet) run down to lower sockets for connection to the components for a neat look. Before mounting the TV, I plugged all the external cables (4956, 5352 & ethernet) into the wall sockets. As we were mounting the TV, the external cables were plugged in. Resorted to using right angle RCA connectors on the component cable (7233 - also required in the wall due to tight fit of the recessed wall plate).

Even with the recessed plate, with so many cables coming from the wall, was difficult for the TV to lie flat. Ended up using 2 washers at the top on each side to offset the TV. Because my wall is not flat, the wall beind the TV was slightly gauged when sliding the TV down on the bracket - perhaps using 3 stronger people would have helped here as the TV is so large to manipulate.

Overall I have a 3.2" deep TV mounted 4" from the wall. Very happy, better still the wife is very happy.

I produced a template from the web photo knowing the overall dimensions before the product arrived to ensure it would fit in the desired location (It would be nice if products like this had templates to download).

PROS: Simple, strong, close to wall, spans 3 studs, multiple holes allows for various placements, easy to install, super fast delivery (ordered 1:30pm, arrived next day at 11:30am), lag bolts high strength 8.8.

CONS: Built in spirit level not accurate. Difficult to lie flat against the wall with cables in place, but that's a function of only being 0.75" deep.

Mounted a 55ST50 impossibly close to the wall. 10 thumbs up from me.

PROS: Very good, mounts a ST30 very close to the wall.

CONS: Might be too close to the wall for many tvs, I had to make a cutout in the wall to accommodate the ST30s power cord. Had to use angled HDMI adapters as well.

I installed a 70" 4k tv, looks Good, and professional. It is very slim and needed recessed ports i used item 8475. The tv looks close on the wall like a tv ad or like a store display. I used all monoprice ports and cables and everything looks professional works very well. Very happy with this product.

PROS: very slim, strong no problems, looks close on the wall like you see the tvs in the ads

CONS: No cons, but so slim i used 8475 (recessed gang port and receptacle)

    Ohh so flat!
This mount is wonderful for its thin construction. Any thinner and the TV should be imbedded in the all. Worked beautifully with my 50" Sharp LED. The downside is that if i wanted to plug a new component/composite or VGA device in, I would have to unmount the TV. Additionally, I could not apply a lock to the locking bar as there is no room once the TV is mounted. If you dont have to change your connections frequently and desire a very thin mount, this is the one.

PROS: Easy to install, built in level was accurate, 3 levels of height on the TV bracket, locking bar

CONS: Cant reach inputs once the TV is on the wall, cant add the lock to the locking bar

    Very Good Value
A provision to fine-tune the horizontal tilt would be a nice feature.

PROS: Solid mount for my Samsung 60" plasma. Locking bar has hole on end for small padlock.

CONS: 3/4" wall clearance can make it difficult to install locking bar, especially on a large display. Fortunately two sets of standoffs were provided (3/8" and 3/4") for use between the bracket and the display.

Works Too Well - Won't work with Samsung UN75F6300
The mount is fine and will bring the TV close to the wall. Unfortunately, my new Samsung UN75F6300 is not well designed. The LAN port comes straight out the back, not down like on my 65" Samsung. As such, the cable is smashed against the wall. I could use the built in WiFi, but I prefer hardwire where possible, and a wall mounted TV with a LAN drop is perfect. Also, I use the ex-link port as well to power on the TV with an itach IP2serial (you cannot power on a Samsung via IP), and the situation is the same.

    PROS: Slim Mount

    CONS: Too Slim Mount

    Excellent choice for flush mounting
This is a great choice if you're looking to mount a television as flush to the wall as possible. This mount holds my 54" plasma (67 lbs) very sturdily. Be aware that it is very difficult to get to anything behind the TV with a mount this flush. HDMI connections require a 90 degree elbow connector and I can't even use the optical S/PDIF as all the connectors I've found are too long. If running connections through the wall, you'll want to cut a hole directly behind your input panel and probably not use any sort of wall socket as there really is minimal clearance.

    PROS: Price, quality

CONS: While the mount is solid, it doesn't instill a lot of confidence due to its size / flexibility

    Excellent value

    PROS: Simple installation
    Very sturdy construction
Low profile, can't see it once it's installed

CONS: Came with mounting anchors for drywall, but I recommend screwing the mount into wood.

I don't know how they can sell these at the price they do. Excellent TV mount for my 60" LED. I was great when at the electonics store to say I already have one for a fraction of the price of what they charge. Between this mount and monoprice hdmi cables, speakers and asssorted connectors, the electonics store didn't make any extra money off of me selling high markup accessories!

PROS: Nice heavy mount, easy to install.

CONS: Don't think I would rely on the built in level, used a proper 2' level to install.
