Questions and Answers
Used recessed power and keystone connector plate (Arlington TVBU505 not Monoprice) and in wall rated cables (4965, 2769 & ethernet) run down to lower sockets for connection to the components for a neat look. Before mounting the TV, I plugged all the external cables (4956, 5352 & ethernet) into the wall sockets. As we were mounting the TV, the external cables were plugged in. Resorted to using right angle RCA connectors on the component cable (7233 - also required in the wall due to tight fit of the recessed wall plate).
Even with the recessed plate, with so many cables coming from the wall, was difficult for the TV to lie flat. Ended up using 2 washers at the top on each side to offset the TV. Because my wall is not flat, the wall beind the TV was slightly gauged when sliding the TV down on the bracket - perhaps using 3 stronger people would have helped here as the TV is so large to manipulate.
Overall I have a 3.2" deep TV mounted 4" from the wall. Very happy, better still the wife is very happy.
I produced a template from the web photo knowing the overall dimensions before the product arrived to ensure it would fit in the desired location (It would be nice if products like this had templates to download).
PROS: Simple, strong, close to wall, spans 3 studs, multiple holes allows for various placements, easy to install, super fast delivery (ordered 1:30pm, arrived next day at 11:30am), lag bolts high strength 8.8.
CONS: Built in spirit level not accurate. Difficult to lie flat against the wall with cables in place, but that's a function of only being 0.75" deep.
PROS: Very good, mounts a ST30 very close to the wall.
CONS: Might be too close to the wall for many tvs, I had to make a cutout in the wall to accommodate the ST30s power cord. Had to use angled HDMI adapters as well.
PROS: very slim, strong no problems, looks close on the wall like you see the tvs in the ads
CONS: No cons, but so slim i used 8475 (recessed gang port and receptacle)
PROS: Easy to install, built in level was accurate, 3 levels of height on the TV bracket, locking bar
CONS: Cant reach inputs once the TV is on the wall, cant add the lock to the locking bar
PROS: Solid mount for my Samsung 60" plasma. Locking bar has hole on end for small padlock.
CONS: 3/4" wall clearance can make it difficult to install locking bar, especially on a large display. Fortunately two sets of standoffs were provided (3/8" and 3/4") for use between the bracket and the display.
PROS: Slim Mount
CONS: Too Slim Mount
PROS: Price, quality
CONS: While the mount is solid, it doesn't instill a lot of confidence due to its size / flexibility

PROS: Simple installation
Very sturdy construction
Low profile, can't see it once it's installed
CONS: Came with mounting anchors for drywall, but I recommend screwing the mount into wood.
PROS: Nice heavy mount, easy to install.
CONS: Don't think I would rely on the built in level, used a proper 2' level to install.
