purchased a 60" TV and my old bracket wasn't rated for this size. This went up easy and works great. Only thing was that I had to trim the bottom off the bracket to keep it from sticking out below my tv since I was on the small end of the scale for it.
Bought this for our brand new Visio 70" LCD. BIG, solid, and no fear about it falling down anytime soon. EXTREMELY HAPPY.
PROS: Very stout, not cheesy/flimsy, Wide range on the tilt. I love the auto-locking mechanism hang the TV brackets on the top of the wall rail, let the bottom in until you hear both clicks (has 2 tethers to release/remove TV if needed, just tuck them back up into the bracket when done) then adjust tilt and tighten the 2 large thumbscrews to lock in place.. Wide wall rail allows hitting 3 16"OC studs to guarantee a solid install. Being off the wall a bit allows easier cabling hookups after hanging.
CONS: Arms that bolt to TV are very long and wall rail is wide (allows for 3 studs and centering the TV), so would not recommend for less than like a 65" else might show above/below/sides. Not "flush-mount", so the TV is off the wall a bit (I am building an entertainment center around the TV, so great for my application in a center, but out in the open might not be what others desire)
The mount overall worked great. The tilt capability was excellent. I will say though that the mount is very deep. I was not ready for the depth of the mount and it made the TV stick off the wall over 5" when not tilted. I do like the fact that the mount is very wide , which helped me attach the arms to the Pioneer plasma that had a 400x800 bolt pattern.
