Find your studs first, know that the wall mount bracket is for maximum 16" on center studs with no wiggle room. Then see if the front plate will show before ordering.
PROS: Seems sturdy enough.
CONS: The wall mount bracket is just a tad over 16" so mounting to two separate studs is possible, however if one of the studs is close to the center of the wall you are using, or the middle of where you want your tv to sit, you may run into problems. I drilled more holes into the wall mount and offset the arms of the tv bracket which was a big pain. Because the part that the tv slides on is so long (34") it could show if your tv is not huge or you'll have to mount off center.
Overall a nice and heavy duty wall mount that is not expensive and allows you to move the TV around a bit.
PROS: Easy to install thanks to the built in level.
CONS: I agree with fptz in that the bottom screws were not long enough to secure the TV from being able to slide. This was easily fixed by buying two longer screws from my local ACE hardware store.
Might be nice to have the wall plate a bit longer to allow for a little more flexibility when trying to screw into studs spaced 16" apart. If you have studs spaced over 16" apart you will very likely need to open your wall up to add some additional structure.
I bought this for a 65" TV and feel very comfortable hanging it on this bracket. I really like that it attaches to the wall with lag bolts, no worry of screw heads stripping out. After attaching the brackets to the TV, you hang it on the mount and can adjust it left to right, and rotate it slightly to make sure it's level (you can lock the rotation by taking the TV back off and tightening the screws/nuts through the face of the mount). I bought two, the other is for the 46" I replaced with the 65"
PROS: Strong construction, good hardware, easy to install and adjust. Comes with a lot of different screws/spacers/washers to attach the brackets to the TV if your TV didn't come with them.
CONS: No real complaints. The level attached to the mount base is pointless, you'll need a real level while marking for the holes since the mount is so heavy. It would be nicer if it was on the outer face of the mount to level the TV.
This full motion wall mount is very well made. There is noting flimbsy about it and it was very easy to install. The side to side and tilting motions are very easy to manipulate . The only motion that took a little effort is pushing it straight back. Overall it is a very good product and I would definitely recommend it for consumers.
When properly mounted to studs or Concrete this is a superb mount for your TV. It is extremely solid and able to support overly large older LCD screens or thinner newer screens. We typically have it pulled away from the wall to bring the TV closer to us.
