When fully retracted (folded) against the wall, can the TV "slide" from side to side within the horizontal wall mounts? How many inches?
    A shopper on Dec 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello, thank you for your question. No this unit will not allow the TV to slide as you have described, I apologize for the inconvenience
is there a way to tighten the tilt screw so it does not tilt?
    A shopper on Dec 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have not tried. It's not a very fluid motion tilt. You have to grab the top and bottom of the TV and give good, controlled push-pull to tilt it. If you don't want it tilted, just leave it flat.
how wide is the back mounting bracket? Concerned about getting into studs when trying to center on wall.
    Robert L on May 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Its 20 inches and you have about 3-4 inches of play
Can it be mounted on a single center stud?
    A shopper on Aug 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I just added some anchors on the spots where I couldn't get a stud
How much does the mount weigh?
    aaron f on Jun 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. This mount will weigh 9.86 lbs.

    Low profile tilt/swivel TV mount
Using this mount on a 32" LED tv to span 2 studs. Location of individual studs were such that a single stud attachment would not have centered the tv where I wanted it. The low profile aspect is great! When turned off , the tv is not very noticeable when surrounded by framed art on the same wall. The pull-out/ push-in & tilting/swivel/ mechanism design is my favorite feature. I am using 4 other monoprice mounts, each selected on individual locations and preferences. This one was selected for a low-key & low clearance look.

PROS: Low profile, spans two wall studs, good swivel clearance, easy to attach and detach tv from mount. very stable and secure.

    CONS: None

    Very impressive
I have had a 40" Samsung LCD mounted on this bracket for several months now. The TV sits at a 45 degree angle to the wall due to the nature of the room, and has no sag or movement whatsoever. At less the half the price of the mounts sold elsewhere, I was skeptical. But this mount has shown to be an excellent value. My only complaint was that the hardware that came was of lower quality and two of the screw heads stripped out and had to be replaced.

PROS: Cost, versatility, ease of install

CONS: The included hardware was not great

Easy mounting and great position flexability

PROS: A great mount offering multi angle, multi positioning settings for flat screens over a wide range of sizes.

Complete set of screws, bolts, adapter plates, washers and wrenches to mount almost any VESA range of values.

You will be able to set the perfect angle of tilt and swivel for viewing.

CONS: Watch you measurements as the unit can slide in the horizontal plane but not the vertical plane.

I had been looking for something like for a long time. This wall mount is perfect. It gives you all of the features of a low profile mount and all of the adjust-ability features of a dual arm mount.

PROS: Low Profile, Easy to Mount, Strong, Easily Adjustable

    CONS: None

    Limited Wall Compatibility
If you want to have two studs for support, make sure they are NOT between 9.5" and 15.25" apart. In the location I wanted the TV, my studs were 12" apart so I was only able to use one stud. I'm comfortable with this because my TV is less than half the rated weight, but others might be wary.

PROS: Inexpensive, feels pretty sturdy, pretty simple installation.

CONS: Extremely limited placement of wall screws cannot mount to two studs if studs are less than 15.25" apart or greater than 19" apart. Wall screws strip easily.

It works, it fits, price right.

    PROS: Good price, good product.

    CONS: None.

    Pretty dang nice
I have a 55 inch Seiki 4k hung from this mount. I had pre tightend the tilt screws as I knew it'd want to tilt down with the tv. Mounted it to 1 stud (external wall) with the lag bolts, had to "magic mount" with 4 other dry wall anchors. I put maybe 100 pounds of hanging force on it with it extended 1/2 way to make sure it'd hold to the studs. My only complaint is the vesa mount is kinda flimsy. So it wobbles. (I'm used to $200+ mounts so I'm a bit critical). It does allow very easy movement. The tilt is "just grab and tilt it" rather than a type of screw lock.

    PROS: Thin, well braced, solid

CONS: The Vesa mount it's self is the weakest link. Held by 2 screws, the plate should be thicker.

    Decent Mount but not perfect
Mount sags & tilts slightly even with a light TV mounted. Takes some adjustments to get it right. Can't see using this with a TV anywhere near the max weight listed. Also, my tv required M4 screws to attach the mount to the back of the TV (42" Vizio E series). These were not included, smallest size is M5. Luckily I had them on hand from an older mount. Time will tell if the sag gets worse. There should also be more screw holes in the back plate similar to other mounts to allow more options for installation where studs aren't exactly 16" OC.

    PROS: Lightweight

    Smooth Mechanism

    CONS: Cheap Hardware

    Slight Sag & tilt

    Not too shabby
Just bought this and installed it this past weekend. Pretty straight forward installation. Find a couple of studs if possible and bolt it up. Mount seems to be of good construction, heavier than I thought it would be. It has a good range of motion out from the wall and tilted in any direction. All the hardware that came with it worked for my 50" tv with a 200x200 versa. I did the instal by myself and a second set of hands would have helped greatly trying to put the tv with backplate onto the wall mount. So far I'm happy with the mount. If I am being picky, the only issue is that it seems very easy to move the tv. Almost like a slight breeze could move the mount.

Great TV mount for a 32 inch TV
Purchased this mount for my mom's old Sony Bravia KDL-32BX300. It fits great and supports it very well since the TV is only just over 19 lbs. Full motion works well and the install is very easy to do. Comes with all the screws you need unless you need drywall anchors.

PROS: Easy to install and full motion works great.

    CONS: None
