cable management system is just a couple of plastic plates that pop on to the adjustable arms, they pop off easily with a bunch of cables or with the extra thick cable netted HDMI cables here on monoprice. I have to leave my tv in one position, I was kind of hoping to be able to move the tv easily, but the darn cable management always wants to pop off. Also, the way the cables come out of the cable management make it impossible to close the tv for me no matter which side of the arms I mount the cables. For the price premium above the other tv mounts for the cable management system, I was expecting more. But, all considered, this is an awesome tv mount, the price is right and the quality of the tv mount itself is great. I have a 50 lb 46 inch tv on it, and it holds it up great with no sagging. The hardware was more than adequate for nearly tv installation, I had to use a couple of washers and some creative use of the spacers included with the kit to make my tv work, but it did!

    PROS: Price, build quality, adjustability

CONS: cable management system leaves some to be desired

A solution to the tilting problem
Some people have had trouble getting the TV level with the horizon, and there is an easy solution to leveling your TV. There is an allen bolt on the opposite side of the tilt adjustment which by default is quite loose. (Here's a picture: http://imgur.com/ZqIqn) You should be able to adjust the horizontal tilt of the tv while this bolt is loose, once the TV is level, tighten this bolt and the TV should stay level and in position. This should also help others who say there is some looseness in the bracket.

Unfortunately, this bolt doesn't seem to be documented in the manual. Also, the allen wrench that ships with the mount won't fit in this bolt, you'll need to use a metric allen wrench of your own. With a update to the manual and the inclusion of an additional allen wrench this mount would be perfect, but I'm willing to give it a 9 out of 10 since it does everything else well once installed.

    PROS: Sturdy and well made.

CONS: The instruction booklet could use some work, it doesn't include an allen wrench for the leveling bolt.

    Great mount (depending)
Measure your TV's VESA mount distance beforehand, I was unable to use the mounting adaptor 'properly' because the horizontal distance was too short to use the adaptors screw holes on both sides. This left 1/2 of the TV adaptor braket 'loose'. It still holds but is less than optimal by far. The instructions also say that the bracket should be placed on two wall studs that are greater than 12" apart, the wall I wanted it only was very odd and did not have that spacing. Just make sure you research before you buy this one and make sure it is going to fit your TV and wall studs. I do really like the mount but some definite detractors for my specific application make it not that great.

PROS: Very sturdy, motion in and out isn't too stiff, great range of motion to face the the TV in, all materials needed are included. Would recommend to anyone that does proper research on their TV VESA size and wall application for mounting.

CONS: Instructions are fairly lacking. Bracket is fairly heavy (you'd think since it has to handle the TV and its own weight that it'd be lighter).

Quality mount, incomplete and misleading instructions for VESA 200x200 TV's
Great mount overall with instructions that need some serious work. I know monoprice is a Chinese company, but please just pay some high school kid $15/hour to write you guys quality instructions instead of wasting money on more chat tech support people.

    PROS: - Quality materials
    - Extremely versatile mount
    - Comes with an excess of screws to suit various scenarios

CONS: - VESA 200x200 compatible BUT *WARNING* instructions are terrible! You *do not* need to use the "Adaptor" or "Hooks", which are not only 3 gigantic metal parts in the package, but the instructions imply that they are necessary in every scenario. I was definitely confused and wary for a good 30 minutes before verifying with tech support that YES, you attach the wall mount first then have 2 people hold the TV steady and directly attach the "AA (mount)" to the television using screws and washers (instructions dont tell you to use washers but tech support says you should). Such a pain in the ass trying to figure that all out.

    - HEX head bolts used to mount to both wood studs and or concrete walls should totally be fat, flat head screwdriver compatible. Having a hex driver is rare for most folks.

    - I can't emphasize this enough poorly written instructions. Please mark which steps could potentially be optional!

    Too flimsy
Versatile mount with lots of movement capacity. i bought so to make cable hookups, etc easier and keep tight to the wall. Wall plate was mounted dead on level. TV is VESA400x400, 55" LED (light, under 50lbs) and when TV put on it sags downwards on the right hand side by +2". Wall plate still level.....too flimsy for a 50 lb LED even though shows good for 125 lbs. In hindsite would have stuck with a cheaper fixed position mount as only reason for my buying one with movement capacity was to ease cable hookups......bummer

    Sturdy Bracket
Bracket instructions are thorough and it was easily installed with two people in 45 minutes, all parts were included correctly with a lot left over. Pleased by the brackets build.

PROS: Sturdy, Everything Fits, Adjustment Stays where it is at.

CONS: Like other reviewer - take note it does not quite center when retracted against the wall on the center of the bracket - so take that into account when hanging.

    Easy Assembly works great!
The installation on this is extremely simple. I had it mounted and my tv hung in 15 minutes. It is a very sturdy bracket. My TV is about 70 pounds and the bracket is supporting it without issue. I wish I had purchased this model for my other TV...it would have saved me tons of time and money!

    PROS: Great Price
    Easy to Install

    CONS: None

Fantastic mount, exactly what I was looking for
This is the first LCD wall mount bracket I have ever purchased or installed, so I had no idea what I was in for. Luckily, it turned out to be a very successful install. I carefully used a stud finder (with edge detector) to find and mark the studs, and then methodically measured the height based on the desired height of the TV and vertical location of the mounts on the back of my TV.

I didn't have a 1/4" drill bit, but after a quick run to the hardware store, I drilled the holes in the wall+stud to the proper depth. Although a bit tedious, I was able to hold the bracket myself while inserting the screws into the wall. Although it took me a while to do because I took my time, overall it was a surprisingly simple process.

Highly recommend product, and Monoprice was great. Low price, fast shipping, and excellent product.

PROS: Very solid mount. Tilt, swivel, and arm extension provides excellent flexibility for TV positioning. With a few minutes of planning, mounting on studs was fairly easy and straightforward. One person with a moderate amount of patience can easily mount the bracket and TV.

CONS: At first it was not obvious how the TV attaches to the bracket, since the mounting varies dramatically based on the TV hole positions. I figured out for my 200x200 VESA TV holes, I didn't need the large "wings", but only after several minutes of scratching my head. After I figured this out, the limited instructions started to make more sense.

In my case, when the bracket is folded and fully collapsed against the wall, the left side of my TV is around 1/4" lower than the right, so there is a small, but noticeable angle. From what I can tell, it is caused by the tilt mechanism on the bracketthere is an adjustable screw/handle on the right side only. If you tighten up the screw on the right side, the TV sags to the left. For now, I just keep the tilt screw loose which helps. I got over it after a few days, and just ignore it now, but I can understand if it bugs some people. I suppose you could replace some hardware on the tilt mechanism to fix the problem.
