I bought mine months ago and am content with the results. It's become one of those things that just hangs around and does its job. I suppose never having to think about it again is the best you could say for something like this.
PROS: Solid construction
CONS: It refused to mount itself and required that I actually participate.
Changed my mind and bought a 27" 30 pound iMac. I was afraid that the rotating end would not have enough friction and start sagging but it surprisingly stays in place.
I am really impressed that the arm is sturdy enough to hold up something so big.
PROS: I bought this originally thinking that I would use it for a light 22 LCD, hence wanting to take advantage of the the rotation and be able to easily adjust the height.
I am really impressed that the arm is sturdy enough to hold up my 30 pound 27" iMac.
CONS: The lag bolts I read from the other reviews are not good so I had pre-purchased my own set from home depot hence the 9 and not a 10 rating.
PROS: This wall mount looks great and works well after cutting it down.
CONS: The backplate that secures the TV to the mount blocked the power and VGA inputs. I cut it down and it now fits beautifully.
PROS: Easy to install
CONS: Would like more than one clip to keep cord under control (from tv to outlet)
As far as fit and finish, the end caps are kind of cheap. Other than that, it's very solid. The "cable management" is pretty worthless. A few zip ties to the arms is fine.
Overall, very easy to deal with, and no concerns about stability/strength of the unit.
