What is the reach of this mount?
    Aaron H on Feb 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for reaching out to us, the arms are 20" each. The distance from the corner to the display will vary depending on the positioning of the studs in the wall relative to the corner.
Is there a copy of the install manual available ?
    A shopper on Feb 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for reaching out to us. The manual is in the process of being uploaded to the product page, in the mean time you can reach out to tech @monoprice.com and one of our associates should be able to share a copy of the manual with you.
I can't find any mention of tilt adjustment despite the listing as "full motion" . Since we need something to mount fairly high I'm looking for a strong corner mount with some tilt to it. Does this tilt?
    David S on Feb 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Yes, the mount will be capable of tilting. It will be able to tilt up 5 degrees and down 15 degrees. The user manual listed on the page will indicate this in diagram 4.
Will this mount work on inverted corners, i.e. corners that jut out into the room?
    Raymond D on Feb 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Disclaimer - I have no experience with this wall mount. Caveat - I have installed over 100 wall mounts of all sorts and sizes (corner mounts included) and have some ideas.

You could use this mount for an "inverted corner" but would need to have good answers for the following questions:
    1. Can the wall plates attach close enough to the corner to allow he TV an acceptable range of motion? (You will have to decide what is acceptable)
    2. Will the TV be in a public space? (If so you will need to comply with the appropriate ADA guidelines)
    2. Is the panel too heavy to be supported by (at best) one stud on one side and toggle bolts on annother?
    3. Do you have an idea on how handle power cords (and cables if applicable)?

One way to use this mount on an "inverted corner" is to use two-four mounting points (deck screws {with washers} of appropriate length and diameter and/or toggle bolts) on each wall plate using different slots for each wall plate. Note that the closer to the corner the length of the fastener needs to be shorter.

Caveat II - I would not use this method with TVs weighing more than 50lbs or so. If there is even the slightest chance of a rambunctious kid using the swing arms for chin-ups then I would abandon the idea altogether and go with something like Monoprice Product # 10467 mounted as close to the corner as you can get it. Good luck if you decide to
"Designed for televisions from 37" ~ 63" or higher"

So what's the biggest screen size it will accommodate?
    A shopper on Feb 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Shopper, thank you for reaching out to us. The deciding factor on the size of the display comes down to the shape of the corner and the overall width of the display being mounted. Based on our guidelines, we were able to conclude that the mount would fix most 63" displays when installed into a 90º corner. Some 70" displays for example may have a larger screen size but smaller overall width and would work with this mount. Beyond the 63" size it would be the customers responsibility to measure and verify that it will work for their specific corner and display. Thank you.
If the two wall plates are installed on the same wall what is the mount's depth (thickness) when fully folded up against the wall?
    A shopper on Feb 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for asking, It would be about 3 and 3/4in, there are other wall mounts that would perform better in that orientation, but it is an option if necessary.
I want to mount a small tv 25" or 32" in a corner of small bedroom. Will this mount handle this small of a tv ??
    A shopper on Mar 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: To determine compatibility with a TV mount to your TV, please determine the VESA mounting pattern on the back of your TV. It is the 4 screw hole square formation on the back and it is usually listed on the TV specs or you can find out by measuring it yourself(measured in millimeters). You would want to be sure that the VESA of the TV is between 100x100 to 800x400 and also that the weight of the TV is not heavier than 132lbs. However, the mount is fairly large so it would likely be able to be seen sticking out from the back of the TV. I hope this helps, thank you!
Would I be able to swivel the TV right to left?
    Cecile S on Dec 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. The mount has a fairly long extension away from the wall. I used with a 65 " curved display and still had some play with swivel. Basically if the extension arms exceed half the width of your TV then you should get full swivel capabilities and since your in a corner that's 90 degrees.
your first answer said the arms are 20 inches each does this mean the unit extends a total of 40 inches? or 20 inches from the wall
    Dan G on Jan 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have about 8 of these company-wide. 20 inches from the wall.
Will this mount work with a UN65KS8000FXZA mounted in a 90 degree corner? TV needs to be 45 degrees to the corner.
    New User U on Apr 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I can't speak to a specific model of TV, but it definitely works in 90 deg corners and can put the TV at 45 degrees. Seems sturdy enough for a bigger screen than the 42" I used it with.
If used on a flat wall, what is the distance in between the two wall plates?
    New User U on Nov 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I used 3 3/8 inside edges on a flat wall seamed to give the best articulation. For smooth operation make sure they are level and inline to each other
Can this be used to mount where I have a center stud, and 2 studs 16" apart from center? (not a corner, a flat wall).
    Greg d on Aug 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, everything articulates, wo you would be able to put it on a flat wall. The only issue you may encounter is the tv may stick out from the wall a fair bit, but you get a great range of motion from the mount on the plus side
Will this fit a vesa 400x400mm?
    Vernon B on Mar 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The product page shows Supports TVs with VESA patterns from 100x100 to 800x400. Yes it will fit 400x400mm
can the mount be installed upside down so the arms connect to the outside of the mounting plate eg left mounting plate arm would connect to the left side of the mounting plate?
    Tracy T on Jun 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: YeS you can. You can do this with practically every articulating mount. The question would be, why would you need to? After all, all of the mounts are symmetrical.
I have a flush mounted electrical outlet above my fireplace. It's 7.25" tall and 5" wide.

    1. Can this mount be used for a flat wall and not a corner?
    2. Can this be used to mount into concrete block?
    3. Would the 2 contact plates be far enough apart to straddle the electrical outlet?

will this mount work with a TV that has a 500mm x 300mm vesa?
    Kurtis D on May 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Yes, this mount would work just fine with a TV that has a 500x300mm VESA. Just be sure that the TVs weight does not exceed 132 lbs, which is the maximum weight the mount can support.

Can this be mounted between two parallel walls, roughly 42" apart?
    Paul F on Mar 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Possibly? If the walls are parallel, is the TV going to be parallel or perpendicular to the walls? If parallel, I would recommend a standard wall mount. If perpendicular, I would try running a 2x6 side to side and again using a standard mount (depending on size/weight of TV). Look carefully at the range of motion on this mount. Good Luck!

    Great, solid mount, but heavy
I needed a sturdy mount that would hold up our 100 lb Samsung Plasma TV and also position it in the corner of our new family room. This mount works great for this purpose. I actually mounted both parts on the same wall, but I mounted it close enough to the corner that the TV sits in the corner at around a 20-30 degree angle away from the wall facing our sectional in the opposite corner of the room.
The hardest part was trying to mark the holes, drill the pilot holes, then hold it up while I mounted it to wall.
It was a bit too heavy for my 10 year old son to hold up, so I had to enlist my wife's help... which meant I did it on my own.
Definitely sturdy enough for our large, heavy TV and the movement to get to the back of the device is smooth and silent if I need to change out cables or access the back.
    Highly recommended.

Ok, this is going to take 2 people to mount. It’s a beast. That being said, this tank is freaking awesome. Mounted it into studs, and there was plenty of adjustment to set it up for our floor plan.

The center cut outs of the wall plates are just big enough to put some love voltage pass throughs to run your cables. (Thanks monoprice for those as well!)

I have just a 58” Visio led, and it doesn’t phase this mount, lots of room for expansion.

Well worth the money, don’t look at any other mounts, just get this one. Done.

    Product great, installation instructions lacking
The mount works fine but installation instructions were pretty spotty and would have been made MUCH easier if a paper template had been included as well as suggestions for ideal distance that each support should be mounted from the corner of the room. So nothing wrong with the mount, but it took way longer to install than it should have if detailed instructions been included.

    Perfect for corner use
I purchased this to mount a 42" in our newly remodeled bedroom. Previously the TV sat on an old fashioned TV stand. This mount was easy to install (with 2 people) and worked perfectly to give the TV the correct angle for viewing anywhere in the bedroom. It gives full range of motion and tilt adjustment.

Corner mount TV bracket working great.
It was a good price and was delivered when it was promised. I had someone install it for me so can’t comment on that but he didn’t state there were any issues. It isn’t visible from the front like I wanted it so looks good.
