Questions and Answers
PROS: Included template makes installing a 1 person job, as you don't need to hold the mount up/level/mark holes at the same time.
Good and simple adjustment range
What would be really nice for ANY mount would be a way to also attach a cable box and DVD player since both are getting so much smaller and lighter. I will probably make a really small and light bracket that will hold the DVD player under the TV.
PROS: Sturdy, easy to install, fits my Sony 48", looks nice (wife also likes it :) )
CONS: NONE - other than my wish list mentioned above.
With this mount, we centered our TV on a wall with a stud a few inches off-center.
When fully collapsed, the articulating arm on this mount is 1-2" to the left or right of the stud that the mount is screwed into. In our case, this was useful as it helped us center the TV on the wall.
To finish centering the TV, we adjusted the mounting bracket that screwed to the back of the TV. This gave us another 2" of adjustment. (If your TV uses a 400 mm wide VESA pattern, you won't have much room to adjust the mounting bracket on the TV)
1 - The included mounting bolts for attaching the TV to the brackets were too short for my model. The back of my TV is flat where the brackets go but there is a raised up area at the base. The configuration of holes and brackets meant I needed to raise the bracket with the spacers. The bolts were not long enough to reach the threads on the TV and I had to run to the store to buy longer ones. (FYI, TV's use metric threads in case you are wondering)
2 - The folding action of the bracket allows you to rotate in either direction (as it should). You just need to be mindful when pushing the TV up to the wall as it will not fold correctly in the other direction. You will end up with 3 or 4 inches of gap instead of being nearly flush. You may need to push or pull the middle joint in the right direction before hand.
3 - The cable management pieces are not very substantial. They pinch onto the arms and are held in place by tension (and some indents in the arm). But since the plastic pieces are kind of thin, there is not much tension and they can pull off the arm easily. But this is not an issue if you are not constantly pulling on the cables. They work fine, but it would be nicer if these were a little stronger.
I know I just gave some fairly detailed negatives about this mount, but they are all very minor! Once installed, it holds the TV very securely and it has a great range of motion. I like that it mounts to a single stud which keeps the wall nice and clean. Also, my TV is a 40" LED and I can rotate it almost 90 degrees from the mounting wall. A larger TV won't get as much angle, but the limit is not the bracket range of motion.
Overall, this is a fantastic mount for a great price.

If I were forced to find a fault, the only thing I could come up with is the mounting plate for the TV seems to only work in one direction, and I couldn't find any indication that I had installed it wrong until I couldn't get the bolts to line up while hanging the TV. This could have easily been an oversight on my part, but it went up smooth as butter after rotating the plate.
The TV also is not perfectly centered when at minimum extension, there's a couple inches offset left or right of center depending on which direction the arms are. This seems to be common with all of the extending center mounts I've seen, so I can't blame this mount for following what I assume is the industry standard, but I would gladly give up 2-3 inches of extension to gain a centered TV when flat against the wall.
All in all, I'm completely satisfied with this mount and will likely to purchase it again in the future if I have another TV to install within the required specs.
PROS: Very easily to install, appearance is great, and instructions were easy to follow. All parts were included with the order.
CONS: Securing rod on top was not long enough for securing nut, had to modify for securing purposes. Cable trout should have been better designed to hide cables but forming the cables neatly as I did made the cables look professionally dressed.

PROS: Easy to install, plenty of adjustability
PROS: This was the best purchase I have ever made online. One person to install. Had it up in about 30 minutes. Strong, easy motion and is exactly what we were looking for. It even matches my kitchen hardware.. I have a 55 inch and it holds it so sturdy.
