Questions and Answers
PROS: Holds Steady, Locks down nicely
I did have a few issues when I first installed it with a little sagging, but I put in a little more elbow grease into tightening all the nuts and that worked out just fine. I have no sag or complaints at this time.
PROS: Works as intended
CONS: Didn't adjust to a thinner desk.
PROS: Very solid construction. Holds monitor firmly. Allows monitor to be shifted to either landscape or portrait. Solid clamp attaches the mount to the edge of a desk or table. Height is easily adjustable.
CONS: Distance from user's eyes to the monitor is fixed, not adjustable. It depends entirely on the location of the edge of your desk, where the clamp attaches.
PROS: very good construction, easy to assemble, strong, very adjustable, worked perfectly with LG22" widescreens.
CONS: Table clamp fit thick tabletops, needs a spacer or longer screw to clamp to a table that is 3/4" or thinner. A piece of wood did the trick. Huge "Monoprice - Made In China" sticker is unnecessary.
and they didn't have move after the installation. good stuff
support all vesa patern
CONS: little bit of free play in the tilt adjustement
the desk clap could be a problem for desk that arent that thick
PROS: My arm is currently holding an HP 2509b 25" monitor. The tilt lock was far easier to adjust than on the 5402 arm. The arm is a very inexpensive arm with solid metal construction, and was easily mountable to my desk. This is a great arm if you are not going to utilize the tilt or rotate the monitor once you have set it up. For the price, it's definitely worth picking this up.... especially since many monitors no longer come with height-adjustable stands.
CONS: Slight sag, but its so negligible that I almost didin't mention it.
PROS: solid metal tubing
CONS: weak plastic tube extension clamp that doesn't hold well, desk clamp doesn't work with thin desks, doesn't provide any more desk space than the normal monitor stand.
