The stand could fit the mounting brackets, but the stand is not tall enough to clear the bottom of the TV. I have a Toshiba TV with speakers on the bottom so it needs more room than most current TVs. For reference, the top mounting hole needs to be no more than 15" from the bottom of the TV (that would put the bottom 1/4" above the stand). My TV's top mounting holes were 16" from the base of the TV.
The stand appears strong enough to support the 77 # it's rated for. Disappointed it didn't fit my TV and the height of the stand was not included in the spec.
These mounting brackets are high quality, heavy duty. I installed them on a vesa 32" Samsung TV and placed them in a narrower space. The length of the brackets made stability a plus. Very pleased with this purchase.
Allows the end user to install the brackets on a wider TV. Stability is not an issue.
I use for replacing lost legs for customers removing tvs from wall mounts. It also works on some mantle placed tvs due to the factory legs often stick out too far on the front causing a falling hazard.
