Don't leave your flat panel TV on a table or stand where it can be knocked over and damaged, or even worse injure a child or pet. Instead, mount it securely and safely to the wall using this Adjustable Tilting/Swiveling Wall Mount Bracket from Monoprice!

The majority of wall mount brackets fall within three classes: fixed wall mounts, those that add tilting motion to the basic bracket, and those that add both tilting and swiveling motion. This bracket is different in that it offers swiveling motion only. The display mounts onto the main arm, which can swing 90° to each side. This provides a mounting solution that cannot be duplicated with a mount of another style or class.

For example, in a long classroom these mounts could be fixed to the side walls, allowing displays to be pushed up flat against the wall then swung out when needed. Similarly, a home application could have this bracket attached to a wall next to an entryway between two rooms. The display could then be left up against the wall when you want to watch TV from one room or swung out into the entryway to watch from the other room.

When swung fully to one side the back of the display sits only 1.2" from the wall. The main arm is 32.3" long and the bracket can accommodate any LCD, LED, or Plasma flat panel display with VESA mounting patterns between 200x200 and 500x400, which includes most 26" to 42" TVs*. It has undergone extensive safety testing and has been certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), which ensures that it will perform safely and reliably.

This bracket can be mounted to any type wall (brick, concrete, wood stud, etc.) and can safely hold up to 55 lbs (including the weight of the mount itself). Mounting hardware is included.

    * Note that the display screen size is only an approximation. Your TV is compatible with this mount as long as your display has a VESA mounting pattern and weight that fit within the size and weight limits listed above.

The screws that came with the mount were the wrong size. The screws that were sent were too big for my tv.

    look carefully
The title is misleading, this is not a full motion mount.
The motion is similar to a door, ie open/close, there is no up/down or side to side.
The return freight is as much as the cost, so I'm stuck with it.

PROS: sturdy like the other monoprice mounts

CONS: Does not swivel, move up/down or side to side. Not "full motion" at all.

    Not full motion
I'm not sure why this is called a "full motion" wall mount. It has exactly one motion, the ability to pivot about a vertical axis.

PROS: Installation was easy (if you are OK with finding studs). Socket wrench recommended for the screws as they are large and fit tightly into the recommended drill holes.

CONS: No tilt around horizontal axis.

I don't think that word means what you think it means
Doesn't do what it should and has no ability to compensate.

    PROS: Easy to install

CONS: "full motion" is not full motion. The arm swings 180 degrees, but there is no forward tilt, and no rotation of the TV. Combine that with a slight sag in the arm and my TV is just barely off level, despite following instructions and mounting the hardware perfectly level.

    NOT A FULL MOTION
This a great mount if you want to move the tv back and foth in a single movement, but to call it full motion is a bad choice of words. Full motion implies at least to me up, down back and forth. It can only go back and forth. It works. We are using it, but dont let the name fool you. You can probably can less expensive that does the same thing.

PROS: It's a great mount it works.

CONS: It's not full motion at least based on my definition.
