Does this tablet need a computer?
    New User U on Sep 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is not a standalone computer tablet. It's a drawing tablet, and a great one for the price
Does this work with Photoshop? If so, how would you connect or 'sync' it?
    A shopper on Dec 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It works great with Photoshop. You just configure your monitors. I like to work with an extended desktop on my Mac. Drag you Photoshop document window onto the the tablet space and start drawing or painting with the stylus. I also like to set my stylus pressure in the tablet driver software to a little on the hard side. That is a personal preference, but you might want to experiment with this.

    Excellent monitor, very irritating drivers.
(More like 3.5 stars, but the window doesn't go in increments of 0.5 ...)
I'll admit, I was a bit worried about buying this refurb/open box, but it came in like new condition, with no scuffs or anything, and with a pen still in plastic wrap. The resolution is great, the viewing angles are great, seriously this thing is beautiful. The drawing/ pen tracking is excellent and smooth, and the massive work surface is amazing. This could easily be a primary monitor that doubles as your tablet. The stand adjusts very easily, and goes down to an angle even lower than I would have imagined, which is exactly how I like it. It also has more than enough inputs (HDMI DVI, and VGA.)

That's all the good stuff, so here comes the bad: The drivers are... well I still don't understand what's wrong with them. To be clear, they work 99% of the time when you're in a drawing program like Photoshop, SAI, etc..., but once you get out of those programs, it completely stops tracking the pen. So on the desktop, in your web browser, etc.. it just doesn't work. I've tried installing old versions of the drivers, new versions, complete reinstalls, etc..., but to no avail. The weird part is, it tracks the pen everywhere when you first start up the computer, but after it has been running for a few minutes, the problem begins again. This is particularly frustrating because I use a relatively old program to write on pdf’s to do my engineering drafting homework, and the pen just stops working in that program. So to recap: I’ve almost never had any problems in dedicated drawing programs, but it doesn’t work anywhere else like half the time. Maybe this will be fixed in a driver update, but it looks like they haven’t been updated in over a year now.

I haven't gotten to use it much due to my work schedule, but so far it's been great. It's comparable to much pricier options at more than half the cost. I've been recommending it to other digital artist friends.

Drivers are a little tricky but works well
Once you get the settings right, this works very well. My oldest is an art student and she uses the expensive brand Watcom version at school and she says this one is very close. It is way less expensive.

I love it! Definitely rivaling the Wacom Cintiq series! I definitely suggest this item for artists beginners and experts.

Have issue with the drivers, need updated.
After a lot of tweaking, I got it to work somewhat with programs on windows 10 like CorelDraw, but certain things cause it to bug out, and I have to reboot in order to get it to work again. I cannot get it to work with Adobe Photoshop at all. In your downloads, there are no drivers updated or otherwise, so all I got are the ones you sent with the tablet. I wish you would fix this issue.

    Not so good
I was very excited to find an open boxed for a cheap price, but nothing came good out of it. The box was beat up, the wrapping was ripped. The tablet worked 2 mins, then middle of the screen did not detect the pen. 5 mins in the pen did not want to function with the tablet. It would sense the cursor but had not function. Im trying to send it back for a refund, or get a functional unit as a replacement. Ive had Monoprice products before and i do think they are great quality, but this was a bad unit.
