does this come with screws for the monitor?
    New User U on Feb 7, 2018
What is the length of the pole?
    A shopper on Dec 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello, thank you for your question. The height of the pole is 13.4 inches. I hope this helps, and of course if you have any more questions feel free to contact us!
Will this work with a 34" Ultra Wide monitor that is 10.6 lbs (Make/Model: LG 34UM69G-B)? The bolt pattern matches (100 x 100), I just need to know if the size/weight will be ok. The monitor mounting point is near the bottom of the monitor, and I will need to position the monitor very low on the pole, as close to the desk as possible.
    John D on Oct 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi, this should work, the vertical pole is 17 inches tall, you can measure if that's enough height to the center of your monitor's vesa mounts. This mount is rated for 33 lbs. You can click the "Specification Sheet" link at the bottom of the page to see details. Thanks for checking.
Can this stand be used as free standing? Instructions and pictures do not show mounting.
    Mark N on Dec 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If I'm understanding your question correctly...Yes this can free stand on the top of a flat surface such as a desk. I purchased two of these for monitors we no longer have the bases for and they work well. I will say the mount is large and for anything 21" and under the mount looks a little out of place as it sticks above the monitor quite a bit. However, that being said...It is very sturdy and heavy.
How wide and deep is the base?
    Johnny L on Jul 22, 2017
    BEST ANSWER: 577mm wide x 266mm deep
Does this work for a Samsung 943bt monitor?
    Chris S on Jun 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Looking into the specs of your monitor, it will have a 100x100mm VESA mounting pattern. This mount will work just fine to fit the 100x100mm VESA and hold the weight (10lbs) of your monitor.
Is the base of the stand a completely flat piece of metal? I want to put the monitor on the stand and tuck the PC in behind. THe PC will be standing on the base. Will it sit properly? Thanks.
    Gregory S on Jul 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It is quite flat, but not 2-dimentional. The flat legs need probably 1/4" of clearance for the computer sitting on them. If the feet on the computer are that high/thick, then you should be good to go.
Can you freely move the display from side to side once attached, or is it tightened down?
    A shopper on Jun 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It's pretty much tightened down. If your display isn't too heavy then you may be able to find a tightness where you can just barely swivel the display without it sagging over time, but that wasn't true for the 27" monitor that I use with this stand.
will this stand fit a Dell monitor ?
    A shopper on Sep 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi, you can check the Dell monitor if it has a standard VESA mounting option, which are four screw holes forming a square shape on the back of the monitor. Many monitors have this but there are models that still don't. Thanks.

These bad boys work great..I mounted a 27" iMac to the stand..It was a breeze..easy to assemble (Note**Recommend 2 people to install)..Will recommend this stand

PROS: Easy to assemble....Nice design..,.GREAT PRICE

CONS: Base a little wide..but thats OK..need to be for big 31 pound 27" iMac

    QX2710 Stand
Great product for use with the QX270. There is a fairly large gap between the mount and the backplate because the mount holes on the qx2710 are fairly shallow. I had some spare plexiglass around so cut and drilled 4 quick sets for the screws.

PROS: Very sturdy and simple to set up. Does exactly what it should. Large enough to feel comfortable with a 27" monitor on it. Not the easiest to adjust but very simple.

CONS: No included spacers/washers for vesa mount to the qx2710. (I assume this is a fairly monitor specific problem so I don't hold it against the product. Just information for those buying this for that particular monitor.)

    Will NOT support 30 pounds!!!
Purchased to attach a 27" iMac (Late 2009 model) to lower the overall height of my iMac (it was too tall with the original Apple® base).

My iMac weighed 29 pounds on my home scale (before removing the original Apple® base). I modified the mount (added two zip-ties) to provide additional support to hold it in the proper position. It works fantastic now but it should work as advertised and not need zip-ties. The zip-tie solution works great but may not be aesthetically pleasing if the back of your computer is visible (not a problem for me as my iMac is in a roll-top desk and the back of it is not visible). Other than the swivel-ball joint not being strong enough, the mount is great - it seem to be solid and well-constructed. It would probably work great with a light-weight monitor/computer.

PROS: Better price from Monoprice than Amazon!

Can be modified with zip-ties to provide additional needed support.

CONS: No matter how tight you tighten the screws for the swivel-ball, it WILL NOT support/hold 29 pounds [a 27" iMac (Late 2009 model)].

    Beware this is huge
This mount is larger than the image makes it out to be. I bought it for my 20" monitor that I had mounted on the wall at my desk and so I threw away the factory foot. This mount looks like it would hold a 32" TV, even though the description says 10" to 23". It works and is sturdy and I use it but it looks pretty ridiculous on my desk. Also if you don't want to see the big pole above the screen you need to mount the screen way high, like a foot off your desk height.

    PROS: Sturdy and well made

CONS: It's huge, can't swivel or tilt without a getting behind it with an allen wrench, no padding under the flat metal foot.

    Incorrect Size
Buyer beware, the base of this stand is actually 577mm not 550mm as the picture on the product page would lead you to believe. Please correct the sizing info so that people know what they are buying.

    Ginormous & highly impractical
This is by far the largest monitor stand I have ever seen. It looks like it was sized for giants. It literally takes up 2/3 the width of my entire desk, and half the depth. The product description online said it was for 10" to 23" monitors, but when it shipped the box said 13" minimum to 27" maximum. I have a feeling, if the base weighted better, this thing could handle a 42" monitor no problem. My 17" monitor only takes up half the width of the entire base, making this look incredibly silly and clunky.

PROS: There is no way you will ever tip this thing over if your monitor is under 27". This is gonna be stable as it can get. It can also raise the monitor a good 16" off the desk, meaning if you were a giraffe, you wouldn't have to bend your neck.

CONS: So ginormous that you won't have a place to put your keyboard or mouse. This stand takes up the whole desk.

I FINALLY found what I've been looking for
For far longer than I'm willing to admit, my monitor has been sitting too high on my desk causing all kinds of neck problems for me. I began a search on the internet for another stand. I found Monoprice and what I thought might be the correct stand. I called customer service and got a 5 star rep who helped me select the correct stand. I got it setup today and it works perfectly. Exactly what I should have done a long time ago.

The price was extremely reasonable and the customer service was first rate.

    Great Job, Monoprice!

    PROS: Customer Service Personnel

    Price

    CONS: Absolutely None

    Incredible Value, High quality
    5/5

PROS: Very high quality finish, speedy delivery, surprisingly low price. What's not to like? The base is very thin and unobtrusive on the desktop, but steel-strong. The post, strong and rigid. I wish I had known about this company two years ago!

CONS: The design of the swivel ball-joint is awkward to tighten/loosen. If you plan to set the position of the monitor and leave it, you'll be fine. But if you need to adjust the monitor's position frequently, you may not care for the swivel-mount design. If you need to change the tilt or viewing angle more than once a month, you'll quickly find it difficult because of the three small screws that require allen-head (hex-head) wrench for tightening/loosening.

    Adejustable tilting desk mount
I have been looking for an adjustable mount for a smaller TV that sits on top of a high cabinet in the bedroom. The TV needed to tilt to be able to see the images clearly from the bed. This fits the bill perfectly. It arrived on time and is very well built and was easy to assemble. Monoprice also had a very reasonable price for a product so very well built.

PROS: Can use to sit TV on top of a desk, dresser, or cabinet. Tilt and swivel allows viewing from many angles.

CONS: I think the feet are a little larger than necessary for my 22" TV, but may be needed for a larger screen.

Perfect Solution at a great price
I got this to lower my 28" LCD to sit flush with my desk and it does exactly that. Installation was pretty simple and took 10-15 minutes to mount. Best Buy who? Why pay 100+ for the same (or perhaps lesser quality) mount when you can get it here for a fraction of the price.

    PROS: -Simple
    -Sturdy
    -Large base
    -Awesome price

CONS: -Large base (better have room)
-Up/Down tilt isn't as smooth as I would like
