So you just got a new, larger screen TV and it won't fit on your existing wall mount? No problem! As long as the mount can handle the weight of the new display, you can use this Wall Mount Bracket Universal Adapter from Monoprice to adapt your existing mount to the VESA size needed for your new TV.
This adapter bracket includes holes for VESA 50x50, 75x75, 100x100, 200x100, and 200x200, allowing you to adapt from one size to another.
Questions and Answers
The adapter plate is very solid. I also purchased a "universal" adapter plate from another vendor but I couldn't use it. it was not square, more of a butterfly, and the holes were too big to provide a secure mount. This one worked right out of the box in my application..

I used a screw gun and pliers to get the nuts on, I think it could probably hold up a car.

PROS: Price was excellent and bracket showed up next day with order placed at 3:15pm and overnight cost me less than $8.00 for an item competitors would not have been able to ship by any method due to unrealistic cut-off times for all freight choices. I have ordered mainly metal and non-computer related items from Monoprice but today will be placing my first real order for more items that I normally would order from the Egg. The Egg is rolling downhill as their rules of what they will NOT do grows as do the unhelpful attitudes of service reps.
CONS: None I am currently aware of. Will be interesting to see how standard orders are handled/processed on a day to day basis but I will be updating my review!
