Low Profile 7.5 lb. Capacity Speaker Wall Mount Brackets (Pair), Black
Easily mount your satellite speakers on your wall with this Speaker Wall Mounting Bracket set from Monoprice!
These brackets are designed to mount small satellite speakers with a single-bolt mounting system. Each bracket can support a speaker weighing up to about 7.5 lbs (3.5 kg). Each bracket can be adjusted for tilt and swivel, so you can point each speaker to the proper angle for the optimum audio experience.
The brackets can be mounted to wooden stud or brick/concrete/hollow-block walls and includes the hardware necessary for either type of mounting option. Additionally, the kit includes M5x12 screws for mounting the speakers to the brackets. Each speaker mounts about 3" from the wall.
Questions and Answers
PROS: Low profile - easy to use.
CONS: A bit disappointed in that none of the supplied mounting bolts and screws were compatible with the embedded mounting nut on the back of the satellite speaker - also purchased from Monoprice.
I found that a bit puzzling. I suggest Monoprice looks into this. Any mounting hardware purchased from Monorprice should be 100% compatible with Monoprice's mountable products - like satellite speakers.
CONS: Not suitable for my Polk surround speakers that have bottom-mounted screws. The product description says "single-bolt mounting system" but it does not contain any clear indication that it was only suitable for speakers with a back-mounted screw.
PROS: FIt the Bose speakers very well, easy install and adjustments, solid.
CONS: $4, but you'll need to spend another $10 to use them!
PROS: Easy to install
Work perfectly with Dayton surrounds
It would be great if they were compatible. Fortunately, I found some screws that went into the back of the Monoprice satellites, and with a bid of drilling, etc., I made these work.
PROS: Cheap, easy to use, decent quality.
CONS: Don't use with Monoprice 10565
PROS: Seems durable, easy to adjust, easy to hang speakers, small, does what it is designed to do and does it well.
CONS: I purchased these to use with Monoprice's Premium 5.1-Ch. Home Theater System with Subwoofer (Product Number: 10565) and they don't exactly work together. The bolt to attach the speaker to the mount is the wrong size (you'll need a 1/4-20, 1/2 inch.) Also, the Monoprice speakers must be mounted upside down (not a huge deal, just flip the front speaker covers and no one will ever know) in order to not cover up the bass reflex hole on the back of the speaker. Although I'm sure these are made to be more universal, it seems like they should work well with Monoprice's own speakers.
My only quibble with them is that I was hoping for a way to hide the speaker wires within the mount before they hooked up to the speakers. I couldn't figure out a way to do it, but that's not a huge deal considering the price.
Easy to install
CONS: Hard to hide wiring
