This adjustable keyboard tray provides ergonomic adjustability for keyboard and mouse placement, helping to create a better-fitting workstation. This provides better posture and placement options for people who otherwise can't make adjustments to their desks and workstations. Adjustments are easy to make, just turn the adjustment knob to move and lock the keyboard tray in place. The full-sized work surface provides ample room for a standard mouse and keyboard and keeps them on the same plane for better comfort. Quality steel and composite wood materials ensure stability and durability to survive daily use. This keyboard tray works with most standard desks with at least 18 inches of flat under-table space.

What are the dimensions of the underdesk mount portion?
    A shopper on Nov 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the part that mounts to the underside of the desk is 18.2" x 5.4". You can click on the "Diagram" link on the bottom of the product page to see more details. Thanks for checking.
Is there a positive lock on the extend/retract motion? (in other words, when fully extended, do I just push the tray to make it go under the desk or is there a locking mechanism that holds it in place until I want to stow the keyboard under the desk? )
    A shopper on Dec 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Edit from last post. There is an adjustment knob to tighten.and lock in place. This is very well made compared to any other keyboard drawer that I have seen.

Does the arm swivel a full 90*? That is, could this be mounted and used sideways?
    A shopper on Nov 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Out of the box, it only goes about 45* either way (if that). The motion is limited by a simple bolt in a cut slot. It may be possible to modify so that it will do what you want.
I notice on the manual that there is a significant component to the keyboard tray underneath the actual keyboard tray that is not visible in the diagram. How far down does this component reach? I'm wondering if my legs will be obstructed by it
    Hector H on Dec 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the part under the keyboard tray itself only goes down around 3 inches at it's lowest point and slopes out of the way. It is around 4 inches wide centered on the rear part of the keyboard tray. We have uploaded a video on the product page that might give you a better idea of how this part looks like. Thanks for checking.
what are the dimensions of the platform?
    A shopper on Jul 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi, the platform is 26.4" x 10". Thanks for asking, we'll add the product drawing and measurements shortly.
What is the adjustable range (height) for the keyboard tray? ( It would make it easier for me if the measurements were in relation to the bottom surface of the desk, for example, the tray can be up to 1" higher or 4" below the bottom surface of the desk, but I'll take a range as well such as 5" in my example )
