Will this work with the Monoprice Select 3d printer (13860)?
    New User U on Feb 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My friend already has the Monorpise Select 3d printer, and these are the replacement nozzles he has been ordering and using successfully.
Will it fit maker select v2?

Will this work on the MP Select Mini 3D Printer?
    A shopper on Feb 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely not. Already made that mistake. Sadly my mini 3D sits with a damaged head. Still can't find a new head- currently shopping for a non-disposable 3D printer that can handle better filaments
Is this a compatible replacement for use on the Monoprice Maker Ultimate/Wanhao Duplicator 6 3D printer?
    Darren L on Jun 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: yes, direct replacement - make sure you warm up the old nozzle before trying to remove it from the hot end, though (and be careful that nozzle is over twice the temperature of boiling water!)
Does this include the "little white tube"?
    A shopper on Mar 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The short answer is no .... I bought a yard of the PTFE tube on eBay for about two bucks. More than I'll probably ever use in my lifetime.
will this work with the MP Maker Pro Mk.1, ?
    dan h on Aug 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I think so. I’ve bought 2 of these for my Ultimaker and they fit fine. I think they use the same part for all their printers.

If your nozzle was clogged you can clean it out with a propane torch. Hold it with some pliers and apply flame to it for a minute. The plastic will turn to ash and fall right out. There is also a nozzle cleaning tool that I think MP sells.
how do you remove the nozzle?
    A shopper on May 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Here's the best way to do it regardless if it's smoking hot or cold. You'll need a 21mm and 9mm box wrench. -NEVER- use pliers on the heating element. Raise the print head and cut the filament off about a half an inch above the top of the printing module. You'll have to hit the filament release lever to pull it out the bottom once the head is unscrewed ( I hold the release lever while unscrewing the nozzle as well) The 21mm box wrench is a perfect fit to keep the heating unit from turning and damaging the wiring. Then use the 9mm wrench to unscrew the nozzle ... of course, you'll have to pull out the Bowden tube as well. I never, ever use anything to remove melted filament from the melt hole. Far too easy to permanently damage. To clean the head, just leave whatever filament is jammed in it, reinsert with Bowden tube, heat it up and feed new filament through until the old stuff is gone ... just takes a minute at most on mine. It's never failed to work after this method.
Is this compatible with the Maker Select Plus / model 15711?
    Samuel B on Jan 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I purchased a package of 4 of them from Monoprice for backup and they worked OK. I would suggest that you also buy some nozzle cleaning filament and run around 200mm through the printer every few prints to keep the nozzles clean....
replacement steel 3D Printer 0.4 mm Nozzle for Maker Select 3D Printer v2 ?
    A shopper on Feb 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this is for the version 2. Will not work on the version 1. I have both. If your filament is thin coming out of nozzle and curls up and you have tried cleaning to no avail, this is will fix it!

Works well, fair price, but where the connector tube?
This slotted into my Monoprice printer nicely after another nozzle clogged. Seems to be working great. My only question is that the nozzle needs a white plastic connector tube to link it up into the heating assembly, and none came with my replacement nozzle. There was an extra included with my printer accessories that I used, but I'm wondering what I'll do next time. I don't see the tubes for sale anywhere on Monoprice's site.

This nozzle does not work with the Monoprice Select Mini 3D printer but might work with another printer.

Works as well as the one that came with the unit
It's overpriced to be sure, but you've got to have a backup.

    works as it should
works as it should. This nozzle is a .4mm hole with m7 thread, otherwise known as MK10 since this printer was cloned from a flashforge.

    PROS: works

CONS: price is a bit high for what it is (brass), not high wear stainless steel.

This was a replacement for the original one, which was damaged during a careless cleaning procedure. The printer is now working great agin, just like new

Good to have a spare nozzle
I switched to a cheaper quality filament (not by choice but it was what I received) and this caused issues with both Monoprice 3d printers.  this is for the larger model as I got filament stuck in the original nozzle.

Swapped the nozzle and was printing again right away. Took a mini torch to the original nozzle and was able to clear the blockage so i have a spare when it happens again (I ended up with about 12 Kg of questionable quality filament - so I fully expect it to happen again).
