Is this for 3D pens or printers?
    A shopper on Mar 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Both printers and pens can use PLA filament. However, the filament diameter depends on your device (printer or pen). I will go on a limb and assume your just started 3D printing (apologies if my assumption is wrong): Some printers use 3mm (actually 2.85mm), and some use 1.75mm. Same thing with pens. You need to look at your device specs to find out what filament diameter it's using. If your device is using 3mm filament, in most of the cases you cannot use 1.75mm, and vice versa.

    Solid FIlament
A good, non transparent, non-metallic gold. Unlike other metallic colored filaments I have purchased, this one does not have a metallic sheen to it. While this is certainly desired in some cases, I prefer the non-metallic for a lot of purposes as well. About 50% through the roll, and I am quite satisfied with it. Being my second Monoprice filament roll, this falls in line with the quality I expected.

    PROS: Color is accurate
    Non Transparent.

    Very good quality!
This whole spool ran through my Maker Select V2 with no problems at all. The color is quite a bright gold, and under the light is even kind of shiny, when printed at 215.

The first thing I printed with it was #1805457 from thingiverse; the spool is too wide to fit on the Maker Select's handle/spool. After that I had no problems.

looks more like dark yellow then gold
ok I love this filament but it was more dark yellow then gold but it takes paint well and worked in even my picky machines I loved using it for 3d parts for my robo 3d r1 the blue leds make it look a cool grayish color till they move and its just an awesome look the layers adhered well even under low temp but my butter zone (best adhesion and detail) was 215c

    Nice, although not perfect
The name is "Gold". As such, you'd expect a metallic sheen...it's rather dull. The goods about it: its diameter is fairly consistent, with no large variations, parts printed on it do look good, and it doesn't stretch at 215 deg C like other colors. Oh, and another thing: it's not abrasive, like the glow-in-the-dark filament - it won't ruin you brass nozzle.

    pretty gold
Bought this to go with the 3D printer I bought my husband, but it was too wide for the spool extender on his printer, so he just printed a new one. Haven't stopped printing since Christmas!

It came unsealed which means there's a higher chance moisture got in
