Took a while to get around to printing ABS with my new Maker Select Plus because I was enjoying printing with PLA. But I'm really liking the prints I'm getting with ABS. Really happy with all three products from Monoprice.
I bought this along with a 3D printer. The printer was "DOA". This was a month ago and Monoprice still has not resolved the problem. Maybe if one day I get a working printer I will be able to add a few more strs to this review
Compaired to filament I have purchased from other "leading" companies this filament prints much much cleaner than anything else so far. The next couple of spool I buy will definitely be from MP. That is of course once I replace the heating element on my Ultimate :(
This filament definetly was not made for Select Mini. Don't know about other equipment, but I couldn't succeed using it in my Select Mini. Either the layers don't bind together or the part extruded warps seriously in its corners. Dozens of pieces thrown away in the waste basket. Tried every single trick I could find in Wikis, Support sites, and Google in general. Hairspray, blue tape, kapton tape, glass bed, hotter, colder, faster, slower, fan on, fan off, nothing works ! I wish I was in U.S. so I could return it and have my money back. (happy with PLA though)
Hello, Alexandre. I'm truly sorry to hear about the inconvenient experience faced when attempting to use this ABS filament with your Select Mini. Please feel free to contact us at email@example.com with a detailed summary of the issue you are experiencing and our knowledgeable Technical Support staff would be more than happy to assist. Thank you!

As expected but DO NOT get it if you do not have a bed that can get to 100C. Otherwise it's gonna be a major PITA
...which results in tangled unwind, had a couple of prints that stopped because the filament stopped feeding. I may try heating up the reel in an oven to just below its softening point (100C, so 90-95C) to try to heat-set it to the coil diameter. Running this on a Monoprice Mini at 230C, 80C bed (max for this machine) with glue stick-coated frog tape bed, blocking off (with tape) the portion of the fan that blows on the nozzle, with good results.
