I have used this ink for a few years and only had problem with one cartridge. Large savings compared to original manufacture's product. Shipping was very fast to my Canadian address, although had to pay duty this time which made the ink a lot more expensive.
Picked up the black and color versions of the 126x cartridges on a sale day for my Epson NX430. I had them sitting in the packages for roughly 6 months before using them. Now that they're installed, I have zero problems with them. Ink looks great, printer had no problems recognizing the new cartridges. The included recycle bags are also a plus.
PROS: Economical replacement for Epson cartridges.
(Workstation 520) Perfect replacement for expensive brand name cartridges
I have used several of these cartridges in black and color now, and will continue to reorder. I particularly appreciate the mali-in recycling envelopes. I notice that a reviewer above couldn't get these to work in their Epson Workstation 520. I have the same model and didn't have problems, but it's good to be aware that it may be hit and miss for other owners.
PROS: Price is excellent. Quality is fine. Bonus: they make it exceptionally easy to recycle your used cartridges with pre-paid envelopes.
PROS: the color and coverage is just as good as the original fast delivery
CONS: don't buy before you need them or they wont work. I don't know if the just dries up or what just don't work. i have bought many and an after about a month the printer said they were out of ink. so i stated to buy them as i needed and never had a problem.
Unfortunately, no amount of troubleshooting got this cartridge working in my Workforce 520. Powering off and unplugging the printer for 30 seconds, cleaning the contacts, reseating the cartridge, removing and reseating all cartridges, and combinations of all of these failed to work multiple times. Both this and the cartridge I replaced are the same model, so it must be something else causing this issue. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it not being recognized, but this cartridge only has seven (two top row, five bottom row) contact points on it compared to the nine (four top row, five bottom row) that the Epson cartridges I replaced have.
I have since tried and found success with the other Workforce 520 compatible cartridge (T1251). The T1251 did have the full nine contacts on its controller, so I advise anyone looking in to these particular cartridges to check how many your own empty cart in need of replacing has. The reason I haven't rated this T1261 1/10 despite it not being compatible as advertised is because the shipping on my entire order was still as great as always from monoprice, and I expect there's some printer out there in which this cartridge will work. It just doesn't work in mine.
PROS: Much better price than the cost of Epson's own ink cartridges.
CONS: Hit and miss compatibility given this cartridge isn't recognized by my own printer. Meanwhile, others have had better luck.
