Overall, for the price you can't beat them. They work perfectly. I just put them into the printer and they worked great! This is awesome, I'm so happy. The only thing you have to be careful of is when you're taking the orange cap off of the cartridges, watch out. Mine leaked a tad bit of ink out onto my hands, but it's not that big of a deal. I dabbed the extra up with a paper towel and put it into my printer. Wallah! Full ink for cheap! I'm not sure how long they'll last compared to OEM, but still, for the price who cares? Thanks Monoprice!
PROS: Cheap Works Has LED light like OEM cartridges Decent quality for the price!
CONS: Ink is pretty full on some of the cartridges. (May drip a little when you first open the orange cap, so watch out.)
I have used many, many of these cartridges. The vast majority will work as good as the OEM cartridges. Some things you need to look for: 1) Be sure you are looking directly at the link cap when you remove it and keep it vertical until you flip it over to place in the ink carriage. Sometimes, there is excessive ink that will drop to the floor. In my case, it made rather ugly spots on my carpet and I could find nothing to remove the spot. As a result, I always have some tissue or a paper napkin in my hand to blot the ink port before flipping over to place in the printer. If you're going to a meeting or formal dinner, you could also have ink spots on your fingers that do not wash off easily. 2) Some cartridges have ink spilled out in the cellophane packaging. I do not try to use and discard. These situations are very few and far between. Since the cartridges are very inexpensive compared to the alternative, I do not bother to try to return the cartridges. I will continue to order these cartridges from Monoprice while I have this Canon printer.
This is a bargain. The cost of operating the printer is reduced. You will get more printed pages with this cartridge than Cannons original cartridge. You will not see any difference in the print quality.
PROS: This is a Good substitution for the Manufacturers Ink cartridge. Price very low. I have used this ink for over a year with no problems.
CONS: The ink sometimes is over filled. I first remove the plastic rap and before I insert the cartridge the orange stopper is then taken off as I in cert the cartridge into the printer head.
PROS: The ink works well on my canon printer, worth buying and changing the ink to generic from original canon inkI will definitely switch buying the generic/compatible ink from now on at monoprice, it works desame as the original.
