For the 226 and 225 series that I have used for a number of years, they have worked very well with only one exception where a cartridge had a very short lifespan. I have recommended these cartridges recently
This is the best bargain I've found in years! It took some persuasion to get me to buy anything not OEM, but I finally did and I've been buying the for a year now. I've never had a problem and I think it was a great decision to switch from the manufacturer's inkjet cartridges to the ones offered on monoprice.com.
PROS: Long lasting, true colors and economical. The printer recognizes the cartridges.
As soon as I put it in my canon mx 892, it says it does not recognize ink. I thought that it would not recognize my printer because maybe my printer was too new. So I decided to try my old mx870. Guess what? Same thing. Not recognized. This piece of junk is incompatible for my 2 canon. I do not know why monoprice says it is compatible when it really is not. I called monoprice to complain about getting my money back. But they would not send me out a prepaid label. They told me I would have to contact them through email. Of course I did. Then they asked me remove all of the ink and turn off my printer and then turn it back on and reinstall it. Guess what? I just turned on and off the same junk ink monoprice! They then said that they will talk to their returns dept about the prepaid label, since their product is defective. Guess what? Nothing happened! No Email, nothing from returns dept. And yes I still have the same junk looking at me now.
PROS: It fits ink slot and there is ink in cartridge.
CONS: Incompatible Junk. Ink not recognized in Canon MX870 and 892
