Not quite the same install as OEM Brother Cartridges
So there is a very small cellophane seal over the ink dispenser and no instructions for how to install..
I had bought 2 of these originally and figured i had to break the cellophane seal so ink could get to the printer. Turns out that is not the correct install. The first cartridge I installed did not work because I outsmarted myself at installation and messed up the mechanism that would allow the printer to pull vacuum on the ink cartridge..
The second one I skipped breaking the seal before installation and it works fine.
Printer is working fine with this ink cartridge when I didn't screw up the install.
if possible, I would give it a zero. Tried multiple solutions to prime, clean, fix, print. The ink is there but upon inspection of an OEM cartridge, this after market cartridge is missing a white gear like circle that completes the seal for the ink to be delivered to the page. Ink doesn't make it into the machine. I can supply pictures of OEM and after market as well.
CONS: Doesn't deliver ink after priming, testing, cleaning and printing - no ink to the page
