Does anyone know how to set this up as a repeater / range extender? The instructions do not cover this. I'm about to send this back.

Is possible to turn off the wireless function and use it only as wired router?
    A shopper on Jan 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I believe so but it would have only 2 Ethernet ports. (The blue Ethernet port is for connecting to an Internet service or to a larger network.) You would also need to go into the settings to disable the Wifi antenna.

I wouldn't buy this item for the purpose of using it solely as a wired router. You can might find an inexpensive 4 or 8 port wired router that would be better and easier to configure.

I used mine to network an older remote printer
Setup was easy once I read the instructions.
I have an older color laser printer without wifi that I wanted setup in another part of the house since it is roughly the size of a Buick.
I used this to connect to my wireless network and then connected my printer via the network cable.
Works like a charm. And is a very affordable solution.
