Questions and Answers
I wouldn't buy this item for the purpose of using it solely as a wired router. You can might find an inexpensive 4 or 8 port wired router that would be better and easier to configure.
can I use this as a range extender and a wired hub at the same time?
here is the scenario,
I have a wireless router that does not get a good range as it is in the basement.
I have a location near my TV that has wired jack.
can I setup one of this at my tv and use that as AP and
setup a second device on my second flow to extend my wifi range as well.
I have no wired network on second floor and not a good wifi signal there eather.
this may be helpful.
I have an older color laser printer without wifi that I wanted setup in another part of the house since it is roughly the size of a Buick.
I used this to connect to my wireless network and then connected my printer via the network cable.
Works like a charm. And is a very affordable solution.
