PROS: These have a release lever that finally makes releasables practical. All the other types I have used simply add a tab to the latch that sticks up parallel to the tie end. These are easy to clip off by mistake, and are generally so short and thin they are almost impossible to release without a tool of some kind. I find it much more efficient to cut those than to release them. Event though they cost several times as much as ordinary ties.
Not these! The release lever is large and sturdy and away from the latch. You can install and remove these with one hand in a tight spot. They are great for installations where you are likely to have to reroute, add, or remove cables. They won't save you much money, as they are reasonably priced, but they are very handy and quick to use.
CONS: These are sturdier than ordinary 50 lb. ties. They are too wide to fit the 3/4" and 1" adhesive mounts I am using. Not a showstopper, but I have to deduct a point for that.
