They are solid, for what they are. Just note that they are very large and you'll probably need washers or screws/bolts with larger heads.
PROS: Solid, strong, mountable, and long.
CONS: These are much bigger than anticipated. I had assumed they would be just like the 8in version, that I've ordered multiple times, but longer. They are much wider, fatter, and the mounting hole is bigger than the head of your typical drywall or wood screw.
I was a bit surprised at the size of the mounting hole. I didn't expect for a standard drywall screw head to fall through. These can still be used as standard zip ties though as needed and as long as you have fender washers on hand you can make it work.
PROS: -Good price -Holds as expected
CONS: -Hole is too big for a standard drywall screw. You have to use a fender washer or similar.
Overall these are a great item, just a reminder to get some washers if you use a normal size screw to mount them.
PROS: These are very large zip ties, almost to big for my needs by they still worked.
CONS: I was thinking I would be able to use a normal 1" 1/4 screw to mount these to the wall but the hole is very large and the screw head slips out. I ended up putting some washers in place and it worked out great.
Maybe the smaller zip ties have smaller mounting holes?
They are a good idea in theory for mounting cables and tying them together but I break at least half of them. The little piece of plastic that clips onto the bulk of the tie breaks. It could be the fact that they're cold and I use them for outdoor purposes.
PROS: Mountable head end is a nice feature.
CONS: Break at least half of them, at least in the winter.
