How do you insert the cables to Wire Flexible Tubing?
    Leandro C on Dec 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The tubing has a slit along its entire length through which the cables can be inserted. It can be a little tricky at first, but once they're in there they stay in pretty securely.

I used 2 of these tubes to contain 3 ethernet cables and 1 coaxial cable in an approximately 16 foot vertical run between floors (through a laundry chute). I was pleasantly surprised to find that the tubes are pre-slit lengthwise, which means if you have existing wiring like I did, you don't need to re-run it, you can just pop the wiring in through the side. I fastened the tubing every few feet with 1" pipe straps to hold it straight.

PROS: Does exactly what it's intended to do

    Lengthwise slit

    Easy to work with

    Can be cut with scissors

CONS: Really wants to stay coiled up you will need to fasten it somehow

    Excellent product.

PROS: What can i say, it's a piece of plastic and it does what it is suppose to do for a cheap price. (but great quality)

    CONS: Nonce

    unique use
I installed 30 feet of IP67 RGB led light strips, under a deck railing. There were a dozen wire inter- connections placed under the deck, and I used this flexible conduit as a way to protect the wiring from the elements. Once in place, the individual conduit sections were coated with elastomeric sealant. This proved to be a very inexpensive solution to weatherize sensitive wiring.

PROS: Inexpensive, readily cut, but also has minimal crush resistance.

    CONS: none

It is what it is, handy to have
The "1 inch" is the inside diameter. Outside diameter is closer to 1.25". Had I known that I would have bought the 3/4" version. The description incorrectly says "includes a numbering system" and also "includes handy cord fasteners". Neither of these things are included, nor would I expect them to be really. MP just needs to update the descrption.

PROS: It is what it is, can't say much more than that. CHEAP!

I installed a 19" TV on the side table by my easy chair to replace a smaller 13" TV that I had used for years to watch 2 football games at once. I had to add a cable box to get more channels with the new TV. This resulted in a mess of wires being exposed in our living room. My wife said the new TV had to go if I couldn't control the mess!

MONOPRICE came to the rescue with your flexible tubing. All I had to do was measure the distance required to cover the wires. The tubing cut easily with a pocket knife and the power cables for the TV and cable box plus the coax cable easily fit into the tubing. The slit in the tubing made it easy to encase the cables. My wife was pleased, so there is peace in the household once more!

PROS: Very reasonably prices. Slit in side makes installing several wires and/or cables simple.

CONS: Wants to stay coiled, but in my application the cable coax helped keep the tubing straight.

Cheap and it works. No fun to use
For next to nothing this tubing will help to bunch and partially hide your ugly wires. But there is a cost, which is the time it takes to shoehorn those ugly wires into this tubing, which is not a whole lot of fun.

PROS: Helps to bunch and hide cables and costs very little

CONS: a pain to to get a lot of wires in there

    Works well
I bought this so I could hide all the wires for my workstations. I did not want to spend a lot, and just wanted something descent. These worked very well for what I needed them for!

    PROS: Cheap, easily to use

    CONS: None
