Spiral Wrapping Bands - 20mm x 1.5m (Black)
This spiral wrapping band is perfect for organizing and protecting your wiring and cables. It helps eliminate accidents that can be caused by loose cords and provides a neat appearance for any entertainment system or office setting. The spiral wrapping band not only protects cables from abrasion, but allows breakouts of single or multiple cables for re-routing or replacement.
Included with each band is a clipper guide (aka Spiral Wrapping Tool), which allows the cables to be easily pulled through the spiral wrapping band, as shown in the video below. Please refer to the video below for an excellent visual demonstration of exactly how to use and install this reusable spiral wrapping band.
PROS: Thick high quality material that securely holds cables. Is flexible so still easy to open to put the cables in. The included tool is (possibly) designed to break easily so that only those that respect its true value get to use it.
CONS: None. If you take the "free bonus" tool out and start messing with it because it looks cool (I did this) you may break it. Your options at that point are 1. Fix it 2. Not use it 3. Buy an extra at $3 so after you break the first because you saw a clamp and instinctively pressed to open it you'll be more careful with the second as you will likely still be curious to figure out how it works.
PROS: Easy to use with supplied tool. You can cut to length or add together
PROS: Easy to use. Enough material to cut to specific need.
PROS: Easy to use. Easy to uninstall. Removes clutter.
PROS: Cheap, easy to use, neat cord management
PROS: Works pretty good. Tool is included.
CONS: A little less stretch than anticipated
PROS: Could be used for a permanent application.
CONS: The product is for wrapping cables but requires a tool (included) and is really intended for a permanent installation. I wanted spiral wrap but this is not spiral wrap. My application is for temporary organization of wiring in a performance environment. I have no use for what I received.
