Wall Mount Bracket, 1.75 X 19 X 4 (inch) , 1U
This Wall Mount Bracket is ideal for situations when you want to mount a single piece of equipment, but don't want use an entire relay rack. This bracket mounts to a wall using standard 16" spaced studs or to a brick/cement wall. This bracket is tapped for 10/32 screws and includes 6 such screws.
PROS: This was easily installed in concrete in my basement using tapcon screws and locks in quite well. The hinge arm is nice and helps when I want to install a new line in a patch panel I felt relieved that I didn't have to unbolt from both sides and hold up on my own. Includes it's own screws which work well for mounting, so use these instead of the supplied screws that come with the item you're mounting
CONS: The bracket can hold a bit of weight but is rather flimsy. Only one mounting hole on the back which makes it feel unstable when you're working on the mounted panel. When you unscrew one side and open up the hinge the hinge side flexes quite a bit.
PROS: Would be a perfect solution if the screws / holes were a better fit.
CONS: -Screws are just a little bit too big for the holes to successfully secure this to the monoprice front panel I ordered.
- The screws need cleaned up before you can even attempt to put them in, they only go in about 1/4 turn and then they're stuck.
PROS: Works perfectly to mount my patch panel to the wall in basement.
CONS: A tad flimsy, but no big deal. Holds up the patch panel just fine.
PROS: Great documentation from Monoprice
CONS: Some of the keystone jacks were a bit difficult to get settled but eventually they all settled.
PROS: So far the wall mount was put up in November 2011 and haven't experienced any problems with it thus far.
CONS: None at this point.
PROS: Good piece
PROS: Order arrived in a timely manner, i got what I ordered and Monoprice keeps the customer in mind. They are customer orientated
CONS: No complaints
