BEST ANSWER: I don't see why it wouldn't. You can adjust the depth of the blade.

    No instructions??????
This may be easy to use, if you already know how to adjust and use a similar tool, but it is almost useless if you need instructions. It appears this tool was made for the casual user, so provide instructions for the novice. This is not a tool a professional would use because it would break under daily use.

Come on Monoprice, write up some instructions and make a short video.

    PROS: Inexpensive

I bought this tool primarily for stripping CAT6 cables. I too, found that there are no instructions that comes with the product. However, after watching a video online, it's like child's play.

    1) Place the wire in the notch directly below the black circle dial, do not spin the stripper yet.
    2) Check the blade to make sure has just enough contact with the outer casing adjust the black circle dial a few times for the correct cutting depth.
    3) When you are confident that the right cutting depth is achieved, put the wire in and spin the stripper around the wire a few times.
    4) Take the wire out and pull off the outer casing.

The notch above the words "NOT FOR STEEL" is for cutting the wire.

Again, that video is great at explaining other aspects of the tool. For less than $5 it does a great job.

If you are debating which tool to get from monoprice this is the one. Works great on UTP jacket and does a better job on RG6 than coax only stripper I also bought from monoprice.

Great Price and is fully adjustable. I have used some Cat5e that has a thicker insulation than normal and takes a few seconds to adjust the blade depth.

This cable stripper works very well. I was a little skeptical based on price, but I haven't had any problems with it. I have just it on CAT5 and CAT6 only so far, but the adjustable blade makes it very easy to dial into the right cable thickness.

Bought this tool for speaker wire and cat6 cables. It works perfectly! Highly recommended.

Works as it should and cheap!
I had no idea how to use this thing, after looking at it for 10 min I figured it out. Adjust the knob to so it strips the outer jacket of the wire you want to strip. Place the wire inside the circle and clamp. With your index finger in the loop handle, begin to spin it! After a few turns it will have stripped the jacket, just pull away to remove it.

    PROS: Strips wire.
    Cuts wire.
    Small size (keychain anyone?)
    Adjustable for different size wires.

CONS: Takes a few tries to get the knob turned just right.
    No instructions.

    Great tool (+ instructions)
I found almost identical product on Amazon called "DataShark 70029 Universal Cutter/Stripper": :http://www.amazon.com/DataShark-70029-Universal-Cutter-Stripper/dp/B000HRWOTQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t There are pictures that can help you figure out how to use it.

PROS: Great tool, works well with speaker wires

    CONS: Lack of instructions

    Just be careful!
WARNING: Be careful with this thing! I cut my thumb pretty badly yesterday on one of the back blades (toward the wide end of the tool) as I was trying to use it in tight quarters. It was no one's fault but my own, but be sure to spin this thing using the finger hole in the handle, otherwise you are dangerously close to those razor-sharp cutting blades that aren't in use during normal wire stripping.

PROS: Great tool, great price, does just what you want it to do.

CONS: No instructions (but easy to figure out)

Great tool for the price. Adjustable cutting depth is accurate to the "T". Make stripping flawless.
