What do the markings mean on the insert? Which position should I use for RG58 and RG6QS?

BEST ANSWER: There is a plastic orange piece. You can take off sliding to a side.

So hard to ask for basic instructions
Decent stripper for the price but some basic instructions would have been nice. There is no information about the adjustment screws and what each actually adjusts, nor is there any instruction as to what the different markings on the quick change mean. Next time print instructions on the packaging.

    Works out of the box
I used to be a network technician and have terminated many RG6 cables. I needed some tools for home use and I think these are perfect for regular use (purchased the 3357 Professional Compression Crimping Tool [HT-H548A1] with the stripper).
The cuts were very clean, and blades were preset for RG6 Quad shield (which I acquired from Shaw Cable, commscope white cable). I find the stripper is small and plastic may not be durable as the industrial grade ones I've used so the only concern is it might not be as durable over time. But I don't believe it should be a real concern.

PROS: Blades are set for RG6 Quad Shield Coax (Shaw Cable Supplied Coax in Canada)
    Small and lightweight
Works like every industry grade cable stripper I've used (Clean cuts)
    Price is unbeatable.

The best tool for cutting Quad Shield cable!
Since all I use is Quad Shield Cable, getting the precise cut to attach connectors can be difficult.
Thanks to this handy little stripper I am no longer spending an entire afternoon to do what should be a small and quick job. It cuts a perfect strip every time!

    Great Cable Tool
A great little tool that makes quick work out of what could be a tedious job. Makes perfect cuts in seconds and multiple cables come out exactly the same way. Cable ends fit perfectly into adapters and the final product is of consistently high quality.

PROS: quality, speed, finished cable, price

    CONS: none

    An absolute need
If you're going to install F-connectors, a tool like this is as needed as a crimping tool is. Don't leave home without it.

    PROS: Great price. Works great.

    CONS: None.

    Worked Fine for My Purposes
This stripper worked well on the RG6 Quad Shield cabling in my home. I terminated ends throughout the house and then added F-connector compression fittings. Wouldn't call it profession grade, but for the DIY person, plenty sufficient to get the job done.
