Will this tool work with BNC connectors and RG59 cable?
    A shopper on Jul 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No. This unit will only do " F Type compression connectors" per their description. You may want to consider their highly rated multi-tool, that will do BNC and F type, as well as RCA. See: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=7050

I bought one of these to go along with monoprices brand of compression F connectors and it works like a dream! No effort is required, just insert the cable with the connector on it, squeeze the handle and you get a very strong connector! I highly recommend this tool.

    Crimp rg 11
Directions for cutting RG11 (more uncommon than RG6) 1/4" and 1/4" cuts in the insulation, slide your connector on as tight as you can get it, then crimp. What I've found with the Procon connector I have is that I need to unscrew the center of the crimper with a small socket wrench to compress the connector all the way. Simple and fast.

PROS: Exactly like the one my friend from Time Warner has, only not $75

    CONS: No directions

Works great, doesn't take up a lot of space in the tool bag. Looks much more expensive then it is.

    Works Good
Its a heavy duty solid tool . The price was good for this tool.Worked good after I made an adjustment to it.

PROS: Worked good after I made an adjustment to it. I purchased this through my Amazon account.

CONS: Wish It was adjustable. It didn't seem to compress the PPC Ex6xl Rg-6 Snap & Seal Compression Connector as much as it should have. I unscrewed the plunger head and inserted 2 small washers then re installed the head. It compresses the connector like it should now.

Is there anyway to put and adjustable head on it. I would pay for it if possible.

    Works like a charm
I learned about this tool from the cable installer. He said he gets all his stuff from Mono price. I had other cables to make for my home theater and ordered this crimper and the 3359 wire stripper. Wow, it's quick and it's very easy to use for any comression type ends on cablevision wire. It's very good pro quality, solid, heavy duty and should last a lifetime. Great price also from Monoprice with very fast no hassle shipping to Canada. From now on I'm going to buy my wire and electrical fitting right here. Local suppliers can't touch the price. Right On Monoprice. A+

PROS: Easy and fast to use

    CONS: none

I bought this tool after reading other reviews and am very pleased. For the price, you can't beat the quality. It is heavy, works smoothly, and feels like a much more expensive tool. Used it to crimp RG6 (with Monoprice 8572) and could not be happier. Pleased again with Monoprice.

    PROS: Well made quality tool

    CONS: None

    Very good buy...
made lots of cables with no issues. A very good product.

PROS: Solid compression crimp tool, and a fraction of the price as the ones sold in shops around my area.

CONS: a very minor one, if they ever revised the tool, it would be cool to have a lock and ratchet style to push the cable into the crimp head.

    Professional Grade
I did limited cabling as an IT consultant before becoming a subcontractor to a company that provides internet, phone, and tv over coaxial cable. I use to be happy with my ratcheting crimper. Higher quality installations require compression fittings and this tool works perfectly, all day long. During training I was using the company's tools and the dielectric would sometimes get sucked down during the compression stroke. That hasn't ever happened in all the fittings I've made with this tool.

PROS: Does everything as well as any more expensive model I've handled.

CONS: Doesn't have the little guide on the side to verify that the center conductor is the correct length before crimping. I'm not taking a point off for that though, because the stripper 3360 never makes a mistake.
