PROS: Cheap and worked out of the box.
PROS: Work as soon as plugged (on Windows 7 after drivers installation included in the OS)
PROS: Inexpensive, Great range, Easy configuration
CONS: Thought I had one when it died today but then realized I bought it 3 years ago......so, NONE!
PROS: USB. Great reception.
CONS: If installing on Windows 7 machine ENSURE you are fully updated. This device WILL NOT WORK with vanilla Windows 7. One of the patches that is downloaded and installed using default update settings must be installed before this will work. I've used three of these and each time I've had to fully update Windows 7 before the wireless will work. You do not need the default drivers if you update Windows 7 but they are there if you need them? I did not need them for any of my installs.
Wide... can not plug anything into an adjacent USB without force. Does not come with drivers, these must be downloaded from a site linked to in the product page.
PROS: Good range, compatible with most computers.
CONS: Can't think of any serious ones.
PROS: Works out of the box with WD TV Live Plus (despite what WD website might say). Seems to get decent signal and streams 720p content no problem. Great value.
CONS: None so far, works well, good value.
PROS: Easy to install
PROS: Works Awesome!!! I previously bought a PCI wireless lan that supports 802.11 N but for whatever reason it would not connect using N and reverted back to G, would take a long time to make the initial connection to the network, and periodically dropped the connection, more gain on the antenna, and was 4 times the price as the USB. BUT THE mini USB WORKS FLAWLESSLY, FAST CONNECTIONS THE NETWORK, AND SO FAR NO DROPS. GREAT PRODUCT!!! AND THE RIGHT PRICE.
