Will this work with a 2011, or 2012 MacBookPro?
    Eloy G on Jan 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, as long as the macbook pro's have a mini display port output.
Does this support multiple screens? As in, can I connect it to my Mac and use my two computer screens to effectively work on three screens?

If the HDMI output is used, is audio signal transmitted as well?
    Christopher W on Apr 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. As long as your devices Mini DisplayPort/ Thunderbolt port can output audio then it would be able to send the audio through to the HDMI output.

Can this be used to connect my Surface Pro 4 to multiple external displays simultaneously?
    Jeremy E on Feb 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have a surface pro 4, to do what you want get the dock. It has 2 mini display ports and the 1 on the side of the tablet will work too. You can run 3 external displays but there is a limit on resolution for each.
I have an iMac that displays 2580 x 1440 will this adapter display that resolution on my 55" Samsung un55hu8550 television 9supposedly a 4K tv)?
    thank you
    David M on Feb 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Most televisions will only support certain resolutions and will be locked into those. The user manuals will usually have each inputs supported resolutions. Looking into your TV, via HDMI it will support 720p, 1080i, 1080p, 4K UHD - 3840x2160p, DCI 4K - 4096x2160p. It may try to display the 2580x1440 but the picture would likely not fit to the screen properly. I hope this helps.

I have 15inch macbook with OS X running on it which i connect to a monitor with a VGA cable . Whenever i put mac on sleep and leave the adapter and monitor connected to it, after logging in back again the 2nd display is not recognized anymore. I have to disconnect it from the mac and do a reboot, connect it again to get it recognized. I was wondering if this can be resolved with a driver install or some setting change.

Note :- I have tested this with couple of different brand monitors.

PROS: Works as expected, except one issue which is explained below

CONS: 2nd Display not recognized after putting mac to sleep

Good, flexible product for Mac Mini-DVI/Thunderbolt port.
This product has done everything Iâ??ve asked it to do, without problems. Iâ??ve only asked it to connect a 2014 MacMini MiniDVI/Tunderbolt port to a DVI connector (and onward to the monitor.

    Fantastic & Multifunctional!!
It is exactly what I thought. No surprises here. Great option for the traveling business man/woman who plugs into varying display ports in client's conference room.
