Does NOT support 2560x1600 (via dual-link DVI)
Perfectly fine adapter as long as you're not using a high resolution screen.

Would love to hear from one of the Monoprice specialists explaining under which circumstance this supports the resolutions it claims.

PROS: 3 different adapters in one. Relatively small form factor for what it is. Good build quality. Has screws for VGA and DVI ports. If you don't have a 1440p or 1600p screen, this should work just fine.

CONS: It says it supports dual-link DVI resolution, 2560x1600, but this simply isn't the case (in my experience).

I have a 2015 Macbook Pro Retina 15", which supports up to 4k resolution.

I used this adapter to plug into a 30" Dell 3007WFP monitor but it only works at 1280x800.

I've never heard of a passive adapter (no power source) supporting full 2560x1600 resolution so I thought this might be a little too good to be true. Looks like I'll have to shell out the $80-90 for an active adapter. Mo' pixels mo' problems. Will be sending this back to Monoprice.

You have three options in one. you do not need separate thunderbolt connectors.

    PROS: Easy to use

    CONS: None

This is a Thunderbolt (mac output) to any one of three cables that go to projectors or other video devices: HDMI, DVI or VGA. When I'm at a client site giving a presentation, invariably their projector/video device has one of those three protocols. This handles all three very well. I used two, in fact, last evening.

This replaced three adapter cables in my computer bag. What a wonderful change!

PROS: Great solution, especially for road warrior.

    CONS: None noted so far

PROS: Works very well. Ready for any kinds of connection.

    No good
This worked for about 45 minutes and then failed completely. The computer stopped recognizing that it had a monitor connected at all. I was using standard VGA monitor.

Doesn't work on Dual Link DVI 2560x1600
I brought this to use with my DELL 3007wfp with new 2015 15-inch macbook pro. Sadly, i can't get the dual link DVI feature ( as claimed here) to work with the monitor.

The monitor works perfectly fine with my old mac pro with 2560x1600 so i can confirm it's not the issue here. I have tried dual monitor setup, single monitor, with thunderbolt 2 hub and directly connection from MBP to the monitor though this cable BUT nothing is working. Using the hub, the extra resolution shown up as selection but all i got is black screen snow, looks like sync frequently problem if i were to select anything more than 1280x800 - which is the single link DVI resolution allow for this monitor.

So no, this cable doesn't work as dual link DVI.

    PROS: Many output formats

CONS: Not working on Dual Link DVI 2560x1600. MP need to take down the claim that it does. What a waste of money
