This worked great for my rear speakers and subwoofer. I used this wall plate the 5072 keystone jack. I unscrewed the rca plug from the keystone jack and replaced one of the banana plug jacks with it to run the subwoofer. The other banana plug is unused.

I used these for rear and surrounds. THese would also make a nice one hole in the wall solution for L R C speakers in front too. These are great wall plates. The outside wall plate is not attached so you could use a fancy decora switch plate cover if you want with this. The binding posts (on both sides) are held in with a hex nut so if you are running a sub you can replace one with a coaxial coupling. These are about one zillion times cheaper than lutron and similar build your own wall jacks. You can't even get the outside plate for what these cost!! Couple this with the 4 strand 12 awg and wire for 7.1 or 9.1 or whatever. There is no reason not to with the way these are priced.

Banana Binding Post Wall Plate - 3 speakers
This item was used for the center channel, front left and front right speakers in my 5.1 surround sound retrofit. The wall plate was attached to low voltage boxes (also monoprice) that were very easy to install. I also used 16 gauge in-wall speaker cable from monoprice. Overall, I've got a very good quality and sturdy wall plate. The installation was quick and simple, and you absolutely cannot beat the price and quick delivery.

Great Way To Organize Your Audio Equipment!
Turned my mess of cables sticking out of the wall into an organized outlet on the wall for plugging banana cables to my receiver. I used two of these for setting up the cable situation behind my receiver. I put them next to each other using a 2-gang wall plate instead of the 1-gang wall plate it comes with. Now all the pairs on the left are left channel and the pairs on the right are right channel. Top two sets are front and rear speakers and the bottom set is outdoor speakers.

Works like a charm, really brought my organization together!

    PROS: Organized cables
Easy to install (if you are handy at all)
Compatible with standard outlet size so it can be used with different covers

    CONS: None!
